HOLLYdays are Here (Falalala)

Hi crafty friends! Carrianne here, sharing more Christmas inspiration featuring 1 Line Holly from The Rabbit Hole Designs.

I began by stamping the image in green ink onto a white panel, then coloring it with alcohol markers. I carefully cut only the bottom portion of the holly. I took a pretty plaid panel from the Spring Floral Paper Pack, cut it, and adhered it with foam tape. I then trimmed down some glitter cardstock to add some sparkle.

The sentiment is from the same set and was stamped directly onto the panel in a soft red ink. I added glitter gel to the berries and a few green sequins to finish the card.

Thanks for dropping in with me today! Have a HOLLY Jolly day!!

Strolling Down Memory Lane - Christmas Gifts - with The Rabbit Hole Designs Warm & Cozy stamp set

Hello crafty friends are you ready to take a stroll down memory lane?  Today we are taking a look back at one of my favorite simple cards created for The Rabbit Hole Designs. You see a neutral gray tone winter background paired with this colorful snowman created for last years World Card Making Day 2023.  Let's revisit this clean and simple winter card:

Wishing you a very Happy World Cardmaking Day! Thank you for stopping by to check out today's fun snowman card.

I created this adorable snowman card featuring The Rabbit Hole Designs' Warm & Cozy stamp set and coordinating dies. The stamp set is an Agota Pop Illustration.
The background for this card is created using two pale grey cardstocks, one printed and one solid color.  I die cut individual trees from the solid pale grey cardstock and the tree line from the pale grey snowflake printed cardstock using dies from my craft stash. The die cuts are glued to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of the printed cardstock to created a subtle tone on tone card front.

The snowman is stamped and colored with OLO markers before die cutting and adding to the card front with adhesive foam squares.

The sentiment is stamped on the card front and a few snowflake embelishments are added. The card front is glued to a 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" light tan cardstock layer and adhered to a white A2 card base.

Holly Hugs

Hello friends! Welcome back to the blog. Today's card features the 1 Line Holly 2x6 stamp set. During the hustle bustle of the holiday season sometimes we just need a kind word of encouragement. I created a "Sending Hugs" card featuring the holly image.

Card details:
  • Stamp the holly image from the 1 Line Holly 2x6 stamp set with an alcohol-friendly black ink on white cardstock. Stamp the image at an angle using a MISTI. Move and rotate the cardstock and stamp the same image 2 more times. Color the holly leaves with alcohol markers. Use red bling for the berries.
  • Adhere green patterned paper to the corner of the cardstock and trim the entire panel to 4"x5.25".
  • Stamp the "Sending Hugs" and "Just Because" sentiments from the Sentimentally Speaking stamp set and die-cut with their coordinating dies. Adhere sentiments near bottom right corner of card.
  • Adhere entire panel to an A2 sized light blue patterned paper and then to an A2 sized card base.

Merry Christmas

Hi crafty friends! Carrianne here with a festive card featuring the 1 Line Reindeer stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs.

I began by preparing a panel of Kraft cardstock with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool. I then masked off the image with tape, revealing only the head, and repeated stamping with Versamark ink. I then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

I cut it out with a stitched die and added red ink to the edges to add texture. A second panel of red cardstock was cut with a scalloped stitched frame and then assembled to a white A2 card base with liquid glue.

The sentiment is from the same set and was stamped with red ink and then trimmed. I added a strand of twine behind it, then adhered it to the panel with foam tape. I then decided to color the nose of the center image red, adding shimmer crystal effects to make it shine. I completed the card by adding red sequins.

Thanks for dropping in with me today! Have a Deer-lightful day!!

I stamped the snowman with the bird onto a 3" x 7" piece of white cardstock along with the Snow Happy We're Friends sentiment. I created masks for both the snowman and sentiment. Golden Poinsettia Christmas

Hello friends! Welcome back to the blog. Today's card features the Poinsettia & Pinecones 6x8 stamp set along with its coordinating dies.

Card details:

  • Start with an A2 dark purple card base. Stamp the largest image from Poinsettia & Pinecones 6x8 stamp set with an embossing ink along the open edge of the card. Heat emboss with gold embossing powder.
  • Using a partial die-cutting technique, die-cut the bottom edge of the embossed image with the coordinating die. Make sure the top edge of the image doesn't get cut and remains connected to the card base.
  • Die-cut the largest frame from You've Been Framed dies on light pink cardstock. Blend the panel with the Candy Twist Stencil with light pink ink for a tone-on-tone effect. Adhere the panel to the inside of the dark purple card base.
  • Stamp the sentiment "Merry Christmas" on light pink cardstock from the same stamp set and die-cut with coordinating dies. For added dimension, die-cut the sentiment dies on blank white cardstock and stack the die-cuts. Attach sentiment near top right of card.
  • Add a gold cord bow and gold glitter pen details to finish card.

Hi crafty friends! Carrianne here, sharing a flippin' fun Christmas card featuring the Penguining Stamp Set and coordinating dies from The Rabbit Hole Designs.

I stamped the sentiment on purple cardstock and die-cut it using the sentiment strips included in the You've Been Framed Layering Dies. I adhered the images and sentiment with foam tape for added dimension. Silver sequins added a finishing touch to the card.

White Christmas

Hello! It's Lauren here on the blog with this pretty, white poinsettia Christmas card I created using the Poinsettia & Pinecones stamp set.

I started out by stamping the poinsettia image a few times in fade out ink onto kraft cardstock measuring 4 x 5.5". Then coloring them up using my colored pencils.

Next, I Added some white splatter using Titanium White Acrylic paint that I thinned a bit with water.

While my splatters were drying, I stamped (in white ink) and die cut my sentiment from the same stamp set. I also die cut a sentiment blank from white cardstock and adhered it (offset) to the stamped sentiment.

I adhered my sentiment to my colored panel then adhered the panel to a white, Top Folding A2 sized (4.25x5.5) card base to finish my card.

I hope I've given you some holiday crafting inspiration today. Thanks for visiting!

Poinsettia Holiday Decor and More

Hello my crafty friends! It is time to take a look back at a lovely 3D paper project I made using the Poinsettia and Pinecone stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs.

The Poinsettia and Pinecone stamp set is illustrated exclusively by Kelly Taylor for The Rabbit Hole Designs. It is large 6 x 8 stamp set with a gorgeous main image using both Poinsettia and pines along with individual images of both and sentiments. The coordinating die set cuts the images beautifully.

It is easy to adapt your stamping and praper crafting to something more than a card.  Here we have used the Poinsettia and Pinecone stamp set to create a 3D wreath.

I stamped and colored seven of the single Poinsettia images and six of the pine boughs images with OLO Markers. They are die cut with the coordinating die set.

I cut a large circle from a cardboard box and cut out a smaller center circle creating a donut or hoop shape to support the wreath. I tied a length of red ribbon around the wreath (adding a bow at the top) creating a way to hang it when finished.

I arranged the flowers on the wreath base and filled in the extra openings with the pine sprigs. The pine sprigs are cut into two pieces to use as filler.

Once I had an arrangement I liked, I attached the pieces in place with a combination of liquid glue and foam squares.
I used white gold water color and gently added a bit of splatter to the wreath. The wreath can be hung on a door or even used flat for a holiday center piece. Just add a candle or other deco to the center with the floral wreath surrounding it.
