To create charming Easter cards, begin by stamping your chosen images onto paper using a waterproof ink pad to avoid smudging. Next, enjoy the delightful process of coloring with Twimarkers or other water based markers, relishing the control they offer for shading and blending. Once colored, introduce a touch of magic by gently brushing water over the images to achieve a watercolor effect, allowing colors to blend naturally. Add some splatters to the background with mica spray stains for added shimmer and texture. With patience, assemble your card components, arranging bunnies, basket, and any additional embellishments until satisfied with the layout. Finally, add heartfelt sentiments or sparkly sequins for those finishing touches, infusing each card with a touch of your creativity and care.

A Sweet Easter Bunny

Hello! It's Lauren here today with this cute Easter card. I used the new Easter Bunnies stamp set illustrated by Agota Pop. This set is full of cute images to color.

I started out my stamping my image in black onto white cardstock, then coloring it using my colored pencils.

I then stamped my sentiment above my image.

I then adhered my colored panel onto a larger pink cardstock panel and then onto a white, top folding A2 sized (4.25x5x5") card base.

I finished off the card with some yellow and green card bling.

I hope you like my card for today and that it inspires you to color up this cute set. You will find the link to the Easter Bunnies set below. Thanks for visiting!

Happy Easter Card | Easter Basket Stamp Set | The Rabbit Hole Designs

Hello and welcome to the Rabbit Hole Designs Blog! It's Rick here with you today and I am sharing a super cute clean and simple but colorful card; perfect for giving to your loved ones at Easter. My easter basket card also features a fun and easy watercolor technique. The card today features the Easter Basket Stamp Set and a few other supplies from The Rabbit Hole Designs LLC.

My card today features the Easter Basket Stamp Set, Easter Basket Dies, Easter Bunnies Stamp Set (the easter sentiment), and the Happy Scripty Stamp Set (for the happy). I stamped the Easter Basket in VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. I picked this ink because I knew I wanted to do a little watercoloring with the images.

Once I did my little watercoloring with my water based markers I die cut the basket using the coordinating Easter Basket Dies.  Once I cut out the cute little basket I cut cardstock strips in a few spring colors and attached them to my card base.  I then stamped the "happy" sentiment from the Happy Scripty Stamp Set in a pink oxide ink.  I then stamped the "Easter" from the Easter Bunnies Stamp Set, in VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink.  After the ink dried I simply attached the easter basket to the card base with liquid adhesive.  This finished off my clean and simple happy easter card.

Thanks for dropping by today I hope that you have a wonderful week.

Stay Crafty,

Rick

Daffodil Interactive Card

Hi friends!  Goodness, do I have a fun card for you today?!

I am putting out serious spring renewal vibes with this one.  I use the Daffodil stamp set from TRHD newest release and used a pull tab die to have it popping out of the ground.  It was so fun to make and reminded me how fun it is to make interactive cards.

1. I stamped and colored the single daffodil image, then fussy cut it out.  There are, also, coordinating dies if you'd prefer.

2. I used a cloud stencil and distress ink to create the sky.

3. To create the grassy hill, I tore green cardstock, roughly in the shape of a mound.

4. I inked blended the mount with brown distress ink, but any style of ink would work.

5.  I then, stamped the sentiment in black Memento ink, making sure to stamp it several times to ensure a clear dark image.

6.  I used the pull tab die as instructed to create the interactive bit.

7.  I glued or foam taped everything in place onto a A2 size card base  to complete this beauty.

Hello Gorgeous!

Hey there crafty friends! Now here is a basket full of adorable!  This little blue dog is content sitting outside in the sun just soaking in the beautiful day!

Today I am sharing this lovely card featuring The Rabbit Hole Designs' new Easter Basket stamp set paired with the Year 5 Birthday stamp set (both are illuastrated by Agota Pop) and the Hello word stamp set.

I started by stamping the Easter Basket stamp on a piece of Masking Magic. I cut the basket out and used a craft knife and cutting mat to carefully cut out the inside area with the eggs. I use this part to mask off the inside of the basket, when I stamped it on coloring cardstock. This way the basket appears empty.  I remove the inner mask and placed the basket mask over the stamped basket image and stamped the dog to sit inside the basket and his bone to the right side of the basket. After removing  the basket mask,  my image is ready to color.

I colored the dog with blue (B) OLO markers and the basket with orange (O) and orange red (OR) OLO markers. I added grass to the basket using green (G) and yellow green (YG) OLO markers.

The sentiment is from the Hello Word stamp set.  I stamped Hello and gorgeous on the card front using Versafine Black Onyx ink. The finished card panel is trimmed and glued to a 4" x 5 1/4" pale purple polka dot cardstock and attached to an A2 card base completing the card.

Easter Blessings | Easter Bunnies Stamp Set

Hello and welcome back to the blog; it's Rick back with you today to share a super cute and easy card using the brand new Easter Bunnies Stamp Set designed by Agota Pop for the Rabbit Hole Designs.  The Easter Bunnies Stamp Set features three cute little kids dressed up in easter bunny outfits; each in different posies getting Easter eggs ready for the hunt.

Easter Blessing Card Easter Bunnies Stamp Set Rick Adkins

I stamped the super cute little bunny with the egg that has a cute little bow wrapped around it in VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink, so that I could do a little watercoloring.  Once I got it colored up it was time to cut it out.  There are the matching Easter Bunnies Dies available but I didn't have them at the time I designed this card; so I did a little fussy cutting to cut it out.

Once I had the cute little bunny cut out I cut a standard A2 top folding card base.  I cut a piece of peach cardstock using the largest die from the You've Been Framed Dies.  Before attaching the card front to the card base I did a little ink splattering to add a little texture.  Once I was done with the splattering it reminded me of the Robin Egg Candy that was popular when I was a kid.  I attached the die cut piece of cardstock to the card base.

I cut strips of cardstock in easter colors that matched the coloring done on the bunny.  I attached each strip alternating colors just off center.  I placed the card base into my stamp positioner and placed the little bunny where I wanted it to be.  I stamped Easter from the stamp set on the strips with a nice purple ink.  I then added a second strip of the same peach cardstock with the rest of the sentiment on it.  I finished off the card by taking a few of the Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots to the card front, but before attaching each I colored each one with coordinating pastel alcohol markers.

Thanks for dropping by today I hope that you have a fabulous day.

Happy Crafting,

Rick

Who's ready for spring friends?

Hi crafty peeps!  I'm glad to see you today!  I want to share this card I made using The Rabbit Hole Designs newest release.  This beautiful set called Daffodil is a great addition to any spring stamp collection.  The daffodil is one of the first signs of spring.  They bring such joy after a cold long winter.  I am lucky enough to have several in my garden every year.  Let me know in the comments, what your favorite flower is?  What flower always makes you smile?

I started by stamping the image onto a white cardstock, leaving a bit empty at the bottom for the grass.  I then, colored the image using alcohol markers, focusing on blending to enhance the softness.  After, I stamped the sentiment at the top of the panel.  I finished the panel by adding the grass (which I created by just free handing a half circle on green cardstock) with the word "spring" on it (also available on this set).  I glue the card panel to a A2 size pattern paper, then glued that to the same size card base. I left the inside blank so that I could add the occasion sentiment inside later on.  This is a very simple card but I think sometimes, clean and simple is the way to go.

Thanks for stopping by today!
