A Look Back at 2023 - Fun Holiday Birthday Card

Hello there crafty friends! We are looking back at a sweet winter birthday card create this past summer using two stamps sets from The Rabbit Hole Designs - Christmas In July Release from 2023.

The Rabbit Hole Designs Baby's 1st Birthday stamp set, Warm & Cozy stamp set, and Birthday Scripty stamp set were combined to create this A2 Snowglobe Birthday Wishes card.

I stamped the snowglobe image on a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of coloring cardstock and masking it off.  I stamped the snowglobe two more times masking the middle of these two globes.  I added the sledding snowman image to the partial snowglobe on the right and the gifts to the partial snowglobe on the left.
I colored each of the snowglobe images and added shading using OLO Markers. A sparkle pen is used to add glitter to the snowglobes.
I positioned and stamped the sentiment in red ink and glued the card front to a dark red A2 card base.

Thank you for stopping by check out today's look back at one of my 2023 The Rabbit Hole Designs card.  I hope you are inspired to create something lovely today!

Bunny Christmas Shaker Card

This is Wendy, back to share another fun Christmas card.

Today I am sharing the fun shaker card I made with the Bunny Christmas stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs.

I used the A2 Shaker Sheet from The Rabbit Hole Designs to create a full card front shaker. For the background inside the card, I used Copic markers to create a winter forest scene.

For all the details on this card and a video visit my blog, here.

Happiness is Chilling with You!

Welcome back friends!  I was hoping you'd stop by today!

Today, I have this card I made using the stamp set "Warm and Cozy" by TRHD.  These images are so adorable that, instead of choosing a couple to spotlight, I decided to create a background with all of them.  I colored them with alcohol markers in classic Christmas colors to coordinate with each other.  I then used the "You've Been Framed" dies to add a finishing touch to it.  I glued it to a red matte  before, then, gluing the panel to a A2 size card; finishing it off with a heat embossed sentiment included in the set.

Thanks for stopping by today!

I challenge you to recreate this. Make sure to tag me @craftwithme101 and The Rabbit Hole Designs on Instagram if you do.

Bunny Christmas

Hi All!  Amy here with you today sharing a card I created using the Bunny Christmas Stamp Set illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats.

Bunny Christmas Stamp and Die Set illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats, Retro Christmas Paper Pack, You've Been Framed - Layering Dies, Clear Enamel Dots by The Rabbit Hole Designs #therabbitholedesignsllc #therabbitholedesigns #trhd

To start this card I die cut a piece of patterned paper from the Retro Christmas Paper Pack using the largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.

Next, I stamped this absolutely adorable bunny image from the Bunny Christmas Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I die cut a red sentiment banner then stamped the sentiment, which is from the Bunny Christmas Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using red cardstock for the base, and popped up the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

Festive Holiday Earrings

Hello there crafty friends I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones!   I am ao very grateful for you! Thank you for taking the time to stop by and check out today's blog.

I am creating an easy handmade gift using The Rabbit Hole Designs' Baby's First Christmas stamp set (an Agota Pop Illustration) and a few items form my stash. I love this cute stack of presents. I think they're so festive for the holiday season.  I am making a pair of holiday earrings!
I grabbed some frosted shrink plastic and a 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" tag die from my stash to die cut the two shapes for the earrings (These will shrink down to 7/8" x 1 3/8" creating a mini tag). I die cut a tag out of cardstock to use for a positioning template.
I placed the cardstock tag template in my Stamp Wheel. I added a small strip of lowtack tape at the top face down to help release the tags after stamping.  I placed the cardstock tag in the template to position and stamped the image in the tag. I removed the cardstock tag and place the shrink plastic tag in the opening and inked up the image with StazOn ink.  I repeated this step with the second shrink plastic tag.
I used OLO Markers to color the present images on the frosted side of each tag.  To heat shrink the plastic tags, I use a wood cutting board with a piece of heat resistant grilling screen. The screen is clamped on one corner, but it helps to hold the plastic in place when I shrink it with the heat gun.  Make sure to heat the plastic evenly.  It curls up when it shrinks, but it will eventually flatten back out into a smaller version of the tag shape.
The earrings are made by adding the following: 2 small red jingle bells, 2 large silver jump rings, 4 small silver jump rings, 2 sterling silver earring clasps.  I made two small organza bows with 1/4" frosted organza ribbon.  I glued a bow on each tag just below the tag hole and attached the large silver jump ring to the tag hole.  I attached each earring clasp to a small jump ring and then to the large jumpring on each of the tags.  I used the second small jump ring to attach a jingle bell to the large jump ring on one of the the tags to complete each earring.

I think these are so adorable and make perfect to give that power-shopper in your life!

Easy Clean & Simple Fall Card

Hello and welcome back to the blog; it's Rick back with you today on this fabulous Black Friday!  I hope that you save some time to do a little crafting today after all your shopping adventures.  And if you have been out all day shopping and want to do a little crafting than my card today featuring the Falling Leaves Dies is the perfect one to recreate.

Clean & Simple Fall Card by Rick Adkins using the Falling Leaves Dies

If you remember I mentioned on Monday that I would be sharing another card with you this week using more of the leaves that I die cutting and Gelli printed.  Well, this is that card!  To increase the fall vibes on the card I took the leaves die cuts and ran them through and embossing folder to add just a little more texture to the die cuts.  I simply attached the die cuts to my A2 card front cut from Cream Cardstock from the top left corner down to the bottom left corner but with a slight curve in the middle for added interest.

Close up view of Rick's Fall Clean & Simple Card Design

Once I had all the leaves attached and the extra trimmed off the edges.  I took a black pen and drew on a few dots around a few of the leaves on the card.  I also added a little gold splatter to the card front as well.  Even through I have a lot of white space on the card, all the colorful leaves make it quite colorful.  The little extra details add to the texture and help provide a little more interest to the card, but they are so shuttle they do not over power the clean and simple design.

Falling Leaves Dies, Happy Scripty Dies, Happy Scripty Stamp Set, Rick Adkins

For the sentiment to the card I cut out the word happy from the, Happy Scripty Word with the Shadow Layering Die, just without the shadow layer and cut it from some gold metallic cardstock.  I attached the die cut sentiment to the card front with a little liquid glue.  I then took and stamped one of the sentiments from the Happy Scripty Stamp Set. I made sure to prep the cardstock with my Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool before adding gold embossing powder and heat setting it.  The sentiment strip was stamped on a scrap of navy cardstock (also left over from a pervious project).  For the sub-sentiment I popped it up with a little foam tape for a little dimension on the card.  Just a little side note if you don't have on of the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tools, do yourself a favor and pick one up as a little early Christmas present to yourself.  You will thank me for that little piece of advice.

Falling Leaves Clean & Simple Card Design By Rick Adkins

To finish off the card and to add a little more bling to my clean & simple card; I added a few of the Clear Enamel Dots sprinkled around the card and on the leaves.  Since this was a clean and simple design I wanted something that would add a little bling but not over power the card design.  And the Clear Enamel Dots was the ticket.  They provide just the right amount of sparkle and shine but do not over power the card design.  I really love how on the leaves they look like dew drops from an early fall morning.

I hope this post has shown you that creating a clean and simple design isn't as hard as you may think. Sometimes stepping outside of your comfort zone while crafting can truly elevate your designs.

Warm and Cozy

Hello!  This is Erin sharing a card I made with the Warm and Cozy stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs.  This stamp set, illustrated by Agota Pop, is really cute and has four different snowmen images plus a tree, some gifts and four sentiments.

For this card, I decide to use the sentiment "Snow Happy We're Friends" and the image of one snowman pulling another on a sled.  Before I decided on a color scheme, I looked through the Retro Christmas Paper Pack and found this cute red and green striped paper.  I colored the snowmen with pencils to coordinate with the paper and heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on green card stock.  After layering all the pieces, I added a few Matte White Enamel Dots.  And that was it for this quick card!

Leafy Sidewalks & Crisp Morning Air

Hello crafty friends it's Rick back to share another fun project with you during this holiday week with it's crisp morning air and leaves falling on the sidewalks!  Which was the inspiration for my little card today.  I hope you have gotten all your trimmings and things ready to go for the big day on Thursday!  So, in the spirit of Thanksgiving I created a super cute little Fall themed card using the Fall Foxes Stamp Set and some colorful fall leaves die cuts that I cut our using the Falling Leaves Dies.

Fall Foxes Stamp Set, Falling Leaves Dies, Window Card, Rick Adkins, Rabbit Hole Designs LLC, Agota Pop

For the cute little napping fox (which I am sure we all will be doing come Thursday after our Thanksgiving meal) I decided to do a little no line coloring with my colored pencils.  I stamped him in a light color ink and colored up up.  The trick to no line coloring is to make sure you have all your values in place to make the image look dimensional.  I used my paper snips to cut him out and used a set of nesting circle dies to cut out the window in the center of the card base.  I then placed my little fox in the center on some foam tape.

To ground this adorable little guy I added a strip of navy cardstock with the sentiment heat embossed in white just below him.  This gives the impression that he is resting on the sentiment strip.  I then embellished the card with a few of the fall colored leaves that I die cut from a gel print using the Falling Leaves Dies.

And there you have my simple little fall card just in time for nap time on Thursday.  All know that everyone is enjoying the crips morning air and leafy sidewalks during your morning strolls.  So, I hope that you have a fabulous day and I will be back with another card later this week using the Falling Leaves Dies for another fun little card design.  So, stay tune for that.

Warm Wishes

Hi everyone!  Amy here with you today sharing a card I created using the 1 Line Snowperson Stamp Set and Mid-Century Modern #2 Stencil.

1 Line Snowperson Stamp Set, Mid-Century Modern 2 Stencil, You've Been Framed - Layering Dies, Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots by The Rabbit Hole Designs #therabbitholedesignsllc #therabbitholedesigns #trhd

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I then stamped the image and sentiment from the 1 Line Snowperson Stamp Set and silver heat embossed.

Next, I masked off the snowperson, and used Layer 1 of the Mid-Century Modern #2 Stencil with Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Ink.  I then used Layer 4 of the same stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Salvaged Patina, Kitsch Flamingo, and Shaded Lilac to create a colorful snowy background!

I assembled my card using teal cardstock for the base, and added a few Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots!
