Curiouser & Curiouser

Hello everyone! Judy here today with a curious greeting!

I'm sure you have seen the super fun August release with all of the Wonderland images (@dustinpikedraws). Today I am sharing Alice from Wonderland 1, as she decides (or has decided!) to drink the magic potion!

I stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne, embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, and colored with Copic markers. I cut Alice out with the Coordinating Die. The sentiment from Heard in Wonderland was stamped and embossed directly onto the Getting Inky 6x6 heavyweight paper. I love the movement it gives as a background for Alice!

My card today uses those adorable heart trees from Wonderland 1 and the coordinating die. I stamped my images with VersaFine Clair Nocturne, and then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. Copic markers were used to color. The sentiment is from the must-have Heard in Wonderland stamp set.

My card today uses an adorable image and sentiment from Bunny Christmas. I stamped my images with VersaFine Clair Nocturne, and then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. Copic markers were used to color. My background is from the Retro Christmas 6x6 Paper Pack.

I popped up the bunnies after cutting with the coordinating Bunny Christmas Dies. Three white sequins were added for bling.

Stenciling in Layers

Hello friends!

Today's share is for those that love stenciling! The newly released Mid Century Modern #2 4 Layer Stencil has infinite possibilities with colors and designs. My quick and easy card today uses three shades of blue Distress Oxide Inks, sparkly embossing glitter, and silver and white sequins -- PLUS a fabulous sentiment (also embossed with sparkly glitter) from Bunny Christmas.

Good Friends and Day Rides

Hello TRHD friends! I am sharing another fun card using the SXS Life 6x8 stamp set and the Up in Flames 6x6 Stencil.

My clouds are made from a hand cut stencil from a friend that I have had for years. I used alcohol markers to color the image, and Distress Oxide inks for the sky and flames. 

The SXS Life stamp set (illustrated by Dustin Pike) is exclusive to TRHD. Profits from every sale will go to fund injured drivers/riders, families of drivers/riders who have lost their lives, and organizations that promote & educate driver and rider safety in the off-road environment. This will be for the lifetime of the stamp set in the TRHD shop.

A Little Dirt from the Desert

My home state is Arizona. I love the desert and all of its different, beautiful lands. So when I saw this Desert Background (Dustin Pike) from the June release, it took me back to where I grew up and lived for over two decades.

I used a simple spotlight technique with alcohol markers to highlight part of the desert with the cute snake (not so cute in real life, but we always got along). I used a sentiment from the SxS Life stamp set. A little twine to tie everything together and it's ready to send back home!

Anniversary Pearls

While I do love diamonds, I am always drawn to pearls in jewelry. I love chunky pearls, delicate pearls, necklaces, bracelets, rings.... And I know our Lobsters from the May release love these pearl rings!

I stamped the pearl oyster image from Lobsters for Life three times on white cardstock and colored in with alcohol markers. The sentiment was stamped and wonky cut for a fun look. I added pearls to match for extra bling!

Anniversary Wishes

Today's share is made with my husband and me in mind. We will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in July. Our married life has been such a fun adventure, and we have traveled many places together by car. So my inspiration for this card came from our explorations of the country and the world over the last several decades! Wow, that sounds OLD. Anyway -----

I used a hand cut cloud stencil that a stamping friend made for me many years ago to make the subtle sky, and stamped my sentiment (Just Married 4x4) on top. I then masked and stenciled a road-shaped section from the new Fiddlehead Stencil 6x6, and adhered it to the card front. I thought it made a cute "cobblestone" type design for the car. I stamped, clear embossed, and colored the car image (alcohol markers), and then cut it out with the Coordinating Die. It looks like they are ready for another adventure!
