Thanks a Melon

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a card made with the stamp set One in a Melon, illustrated by Agota Pop. This is such a fun stamp set! I knew as soon as I saw this set that I needed to make a shaker with red and green sequins. First I colored the melon slice with pencils and cut it out using the coordinating die. Next, I used the the Mesh Optical Illusion stencil to create a watermelon colored background. I mounted the stenciled background and sentiment onto green card stock. It is really easy to turn any card into a shaker card with the A2 Shaker Acetate Sheets!

You Are One in a Melon

Hi everyone! Amy here today with a card I created featuring the new One in a Melon Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop.

One in a Melon Stamp and Die Set illustrated by Agota Pop, Spring Floral Paper Pack, You've Been Framed - Layering Dies by The Rabbit Hole Designs #therabbitholedesignsllc #therabbitholedesigns #trhd

I started this card by die cutting a piece of patterned paper from the Spring Floral #1 Paper Pack with the largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies. I then used the smallest frame die from the same set to die cut a piece of white cardstock on which I wanted to place the images.

Next, I stamped out these gorgeous images from the One in a Melon Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the One in a Melon Stamp Set, directly onto the white cardstock with black pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using pink cardstock for the base under the patterned paper so it can be seen through the die cut frame. I used foam tape to pop up the cupcake image for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, glossy accents, and a few Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots. Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Sweet Summer Watermelon Card

Hope you are keeping cool! We have been in the high 80° (F) in the Midwestern U.S. and cold watermelon is delicious on a hot summer day!

I am using the One in a Melon stamp set with the coordinating dies to create this fun summr treat of a card! Join along as I share the stamp, ink blend and heat emboss steps for today's card.

I started out by die cutting a heart shape from Masking Magic. I peeled off the release paper and positioned it in the upper middle of a 4" x 5 1/2" piece if off-white colored cardstock. Using the Cotton Tail blending brushes, I ink blended a shade of pink watermelon ink around the masked off heart shape and used a green ink to frame the perimeter of the card. I stamped the watermelon wedge image in a random pattern using a darker green ink. I splatter the card front panel with dark brown liquid pigment.

I removed the heart mask after the ink and splatters dried and rounded the corners of the card front.

I stamped out the You are one in a Melon sentiment with green VersaMark ink and stamped the same image directly over the first with clear embossing ink before heat embossing it in clear embossing powder. The sentiment is then cut to a rectangle.

The watermelon popsicle is colored using OLO markers. I used a clear embossing pen over the pink watermelon and heat set clear embossing powder over the top befor cutting out the image.

Both images are positioned in the heart and adhered with forma squares. The light pink A2 card base also has it's corners rounded before gluing on the watermelon card front.
