Golden Spring Floral Kitty

Hi Friends! Kelly here. Today I am using Spring Kitty illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats. for The Rabbit Hole Designs.

I wanted to try something different so I stamped the image in Versamark ink & I used Gold Embossing powder on Neenah Desert storm cardstock BUT USED MY Cottontail Embossing tool 1ST of course!

I took out my Sakura Moonlight Gelly Roll Pens. At 1st it looked streaky but then as it dried it smoothed out & looks incredible in person. So smooth & silky.

The pens I used were #444, #423,#424,#421,#424,#429 & #428.

These pens are opaque and so fun to use.

After coloring I stamped my sentiment crooked so I re-stamped it on matching cardstock, die cut it out & I used a Gold Deco pen along the edges a d covered it up, lol. I liked this look better anyway so it worked out.

Then I die cut it with a stitched die and made a few mats with white & Desert Storm & mounted it all on top of the gold card base (which is poster board, lol) Hey, why not? Its gorgeous.

I added some white gel pen and some baubles & done.

I made this card in advance to send to my mom. She's moving soon & I have so much going on that unfortunately this will be my last blog with TRHD. I have enjoyed my time but unfortunately I've gotten hit with a few life struggles & im unable to have as much craft time as I did.

Monochromatic Spring Kitty

Hi Friends! Kelly here. For todays card I'm using the adorable Spring Kitty illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats.

To start off I stamped the image onto 80lb Neenah cardstock with Memento Tuxedo black ink. Then I grabbed several Copic markers in the Red family (and some light reds/dark pinks)

I colored all the flowers with the reds & I used Warm Grays on the kitty. W00,W0,& W01

Then for my Sentiment I used the "Friend" stamp.

After the coloring & stamping of the sentiment was done I die cut it out with a decorative rectangle die. Glued it to a dark red card base. Then I used a white Posca pen to add dots & highlights. Last step was a wink of stella for shimmer & some iridescent gems. So simple. I hope you like it. 🐱❤

Flower Whale/You Make Life Fun card

Hi Friends! Kelly here with another card using the beautiful Flower Whale stamp illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats paired with the You stamp & Garden Trellis stencil.

To start off I grabbed a piece of 80lb Neenah cardstock & masked off the panel leaving about 2" gap. I then laid my Garden Trellis stencil across and then I used my Distress Oxides in Kitsch Flamingo, Salvaged Patina & Twisted Citron.

After Ink Blending I stamped my Whale onto the same 80lb Neenah cardstock with Memento Tuxedo black ink. I colored them with copic markers to match my background. I used light grays for the whales body & fussy cut him out.

I added some shimmer (hard to see in pics) and added foam tape to the back of the whale. Then I stamped my Sentiment once i figured out my placement.

Once I did that I used a stitched die & coordinating mat dies to die cut the white & teal cardstock.

I glued & adhered it all down & I added some iridescent gems for some extra sparkle.

Oceans Of Love/Flower Whale

Hi Rabbity Friends! Kelly Fusco here with a fun mixed media card featuring The Flower Whale Stamp.

To Start off I stamped the Flower Whale image onto 80lb Neenah cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored my whale with Gray Copics and I used Teals, Blues & dark reddish browns THEN I added some shimmer pen (a wink of stella) to it as well..

For my panel I used a piece of Watercolor cardstock and I wet it with a sprayer and then sprayed Blue, Light Blue & brown onto it . I added layers of colors and sometimes drying in between. After it was 100% dry I added some texture paste with a stencil for some dimension. I wanted it to look ocean-y. Is that a word? lol

Then I took my paper distresser and distressed the edges of the panel. I fussy Cut my whale out and I die cut the word "Love" and stacked it 3x high.

I added foam tape to the back of the whale and I curved my Love sentiment to curve along the top of the whale.

I added Glossy Accents to the LOVE & to the floral parts of my whale and a few holographic flat back pearls. Thanks for stopping by.

Clarence Loves YOU!

Hi Guys! Kelly Fusco here with my very 1st blog post for The Rabbit Hole Designs featuring the Clarence & Clarice Stamp.

To start off I stamped my image onto 80lb Neenah cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I colored in the image with copic markers. I used C05,C03,C01 & C0 I used a couple browns E31,E33 & E35. Then I took the Garden Trellis stencil and I sprayed it with distress spray stains (red,yellow,blue) in a rainbow order across my panel. I removed the stencil & went over it again with the coordinating colors in distress inks so the white wasn't too bright white.

I originally had the stencil on a diagonal so that created these white stripes where the stencil border was. I added a few black dots to it

I colored in the background of my image with Copic 100. I die cut it out with a scalloped oval die and colored the scalloped edges gray to match Clarence. I added foam tape to the back of my focal image & I die cut the word YOU and colored it to match the rainbow theme.

Its hard to see in pics but I added some glossy accents to his eyes, teeth, cheeks and the "LOVE" as well as the "YOU"
