Have a Very Merry Unbirthday!

 


Hi everyone! Lauren here with this colorful square card. This month's release is full of whimsy so I wanted to make this card fun and bright. 

I started by stamping the Tea Party 6x6 background stamp onto white cardstock using black ink. I then colored the whole image using colored pencils and trimmed it down to just slightly under 5x5".


I then stamped, colored and die cut the Mad Hatter image from the Wonderland 3 stamp set.


Next, I stamped the sentiment onto the front of the card. I used the heat gun to dry the ink because it takes longer to dry on the colored background.


I adhered the Mad Hatter onto the tabletop and then adhered the panel onto a top folding 5x5" white card base to finish the card.

Bon Voyage!

 Hello, my crafty friends! Today I have a super sweet card using the Adventure Awaits Stamp & Coordinating die set. This set is fantastic for that perfect going away card!



For the coloring of the bunny I used warm grey alcohol markers and I really wanted the camera to stand out just a bit from the bunny but I didn't want to use a black since they can be tricky and you can lose some of the details. Once the ink was dry enough I used glossy accents to give the lens a pop.




To create the background I pulled out one of my stitched hill dies and added rustic wilderness along with twisted citron to add a little dimension to the hills, for the sky I took tumbled glass and just picked a few spots to add a bit of color.

Lucky 40


Hey Friends,
Donna here today sharing a fun card I created for my baby brother's upcoming birthday.
I was going for something bright and bold with a big 4 0


I created this no coloring card using both stamps from the Old School Tattoo Dice and Diamond set.
This was seriously one of the easiest cards I've done but one that I love a LOT because it's so happy.

I also wanted to share that I used my Misti Stamp tool to repeat stamp over the images 
several times in black amalgam ink to get a super dark cover on top of the design paper.

You are a Masterpiece

Hi Friends!
Donna Here today sharing a card I created using the newly released Beautiful Disaster stamp set.
I adore this girl so much and the sentiments in this kit are absolutely wonderful.


I created a simple smoosh background using distress oxide inks and afterward
applied the image using my Misti tool to apply several layers of  black to make the image stand out.

You Are Ear-resistable 









 Welcome to my very first blog post as part of The Rabbit Hole Design Team!
I'm sharing  my quick and easy method of creating a mask and layers with a stencil background.





Stamped/Fussy cut image using All Ears











After coloring with Copic Markers I used the same mask to shade in a "sky" background.












Lastly I used the Puzzle Box stencil to create a "table" for the bunnies to rest on.



These are super easy and fun techniques that I feel add a lot of pizzaz.
