Give Thanks for Life's Bounty

Hey Fall yall and happy, happy Sunday!!  Ok, ok, ok!  I know it isn't technically Fall, but a girl can wish can't she?!?  lol  Tangii here with another share from the August release.  I've used the Advice From a Pumpkin stamp set and coordinating dies and paired it up with the Cat Eye Stencil for today's card.

I chose one of the larger pumpkin images and then nearly all of the smaller accent pieces (acorns, leaves, etc.), stamped them all and then using the dies cut them all out and set them aside.  Next I used some Transfer Gel and spread a thin layer here and there on my base piece.  I just wanted random pieces of it for my background.  Once dry, I ran it through with some Copper Foil.  There are missing/unfoiled pieces and that's what I was looking for, kinda "rustic" almost.  Now I grabbed my main pumpkin image, added some pop dots and placed him in the lower corner.

Finally, I stamped and placed my sentiment then I took all of those accent pieces and spread them around (they are also all popped up on dots).  I just LOVE the look of this card!

You can also read about this card on my blog, here with links to the products I used, etc.  Thanks for popping by, come back again soon!

A hat is.....

It's All About the Hat, and what a fun witchy hat it is!  Vanessa here today to share with you a card I created using the new Tatsiana Zayats stamp set for The Rabbit Hole Designs.

First I cut an A2 top folding card base, and folded it in half.  I stamped the hat image more than half way down the front.  Using a paper trimmer, I cut to the hat on both sides, and then fussy cut around the bottom part of the hat (ribbon).  Creating a mask, I masked off the hat and stenciled a light purple background using the new Cat Eye stencil.  I colored in the hat with colored pencils with gamsol and added some shimmer with glitter and a shimmer pen.

For the inside, I masked off the bottom with a piece of straight edged paper. I stenciled in grey with the Cat Eye stencil, and then stamped the sentiment along the bottom part of the card. I inked a little around the edges..... and added some glittery star die cut pieces to finish it off.

Happy Stamping!

Trick or Treat Smell my Feet...

Hello crafty friends and welcome to The Rabbit Hole Designs blog.  I created a slimline door card using the The Right Shoes stamp set as door decor.  You may  also notice the panel pattern created in the door.
I stamped the shoe image with Black ink and colored it with Copic alcohol markers.  It is cut it out and set it aside.
The door is created by gluing strips of aqua cardstock on a diagonal pattern onto a 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" white cardstock card front. Trim off the excess slats and cut it into two 8 1/2"x 1 3/4" strips.  A simple turn of one of the strips will create  a chevron pattern when the two sides are plaed next to each other. Adhere these two pieces to a second sheet of 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" white cardstock. Trim them to size creating two door panels.  Frame them with strips the of 1/4" aqua cardstock.  You can see each aqua panel  sits upon a white layer and those two pannels are on top of a full aqua layer for the card front and attached to a Slimline white card base.  A door knob was added using a mat silver rectangle and two different size black gems.  The shoes are added last using adhesive foam squares.

Here are The Rabbit HoleDesigns products used in this card:

Too sweet to be scary!

Hello! Kimberly here with a card to share using the new Halloween Cupcake stamp set and Cat Eye stencil! I just love this stamp! Halloween desserts are always so much fun.

To make this card, I began blending Wilted Violet and Twisted Citron distress oxide ink through the Cat Eye Stencil. Then, I cleaned off the ink from the stencil, lined it back up again and spread glitter paste over the stencil. While I waited for it to dry, I stamped the cupcake and spiders using the Halloween Cupcake stamp set. Then I colored the images with Copic markers and cut them out. There are matching Halloween Cupcake Dies also!

Next, I began assembling the card. I used foam tape to adhere the stenciled panel to the black card base. Then, I glued a black oval and a vellum spiderweb that I had in my stash to the card. I added foam tape to the cupcake image to pop it up on the card and glued the spiders around the web. Finally, I stamped the sentiment from the Halloween Cupcake stamp set on a strip of white cardstock and layered it on a strip of purple. Lastly, I added the sentiment to the card using foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Life's Bounty

Hi everyone! Lauren here to share my fall/Thanksgiving card. This Advice From A Pumpkin stamp set is so pretty! I love the illustrations by Tatsiana Zayats and look forward to sending this out to someone special.

To start my card, I stamped the included leaves and acorns onto a tan colored 4.25x5.5" cardstock panel. I used an embossing ink pad to stamp the images then covered them with gold embossing powder. After tapping off any excess, stray powder, I heat set the embossing powder. Then, using a stitched rectangle die from my stash, I trimmed the panel and adhered it to a black 4.25x5.5" cardstock panel.

Next, I stamped my pumpkin image onto a white cardstock panel using black ink. I then colored the image using Prisma Color pencils. The colors used were:
Pumpkin: Eggshell, Ginger Root, Beige Sienna, 10% French Grey
Stem: Kelp Green, Moss Green
Flowers: Crimson Red, Crimson Lake, Tuscan Red
Berries: Yellowed Orange, Orange
Leaves: Pale Sage, Celadon Green, Marine Green

Once the image was colored, I trimmed it with a smaller rectangle stitched die. Then near the top of the panel I stamped, then gold heat embossed the sentiment.

With the panel complete, I adhered it to the gold leaf embossed background then onto a top folding 4.25x5.5" card base.

I hope this card inspires you to color up this gorgeous stamp set too! Thanks for visiting!

Be Outstanding In Your Field

Hello crafters!  Joy, here today with a fall inspired card that would be perfect for someone graduating or starting a new job.  I always look for alternative occasions to use my stamps, here I used Advice From a Pumpkin, and I think this fits the bill because typically I think of Halloween or Thanksgiving when I see pumpkins.  Let's take a look...

I stamped the Advice From A Pumpkin image onto smooth cardstock and colored it with Copic markers.   The beautiful background was so easy, as I blended Distress Oxide inks through the Cat Eye stencil.  My last step was embossing the sentiment onto a banner and adding some twine.
