I'm back with this fall foxy friends. Isn't he the cutest strutting little fella?

For this card, I used the little plastic pop-outs from the Falling Leaves stencil, placed them on the white cardstock, and then spritzed the background. After it dried I removed the plastic pieces and then splattered the cardstock with gold.

The Fall Foxes stamp set and the Falling Leaves Stencil are such a perfect pair.

Creating a Snow Globe-themed Card with Baby's 1st Christmas Stamp Set

Hello crafty friends, it's Rick back again with another fun card to share with you for the Rabbit Hole Designs.   Today I have another fun little card to share with you using the Baby's 1st Christmas Stamp Set (designed by Agota Pop exclusively for Rabbit Hole Designs). 

To start this card I stamped the snow globe from the Baby's 1st Christmas Stamp Set onto a piece of Kraft colored cardstock in a slightly darker brown ink color.  I then stamped the train and the extra box car to the back of the train along the bottom edge and then flipped the cardstock and repeated that along the top to create a fun little border to frame the snow globe.  I then stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the snow globe to act as an anchor.  

Once the stamping was completed I then took some plain old inexpensive Crayola Colored Pencils and started coloring the images.  Yes, I did say Crayola Colored Pencils!  You can get great results with them so don't be afraid to use what you have.  Once all the coloring was completed I then masked off the Snow Globe and sentiment with a simple mask made from Post It Notes and placed the Triangle Mosaic Stencil over the top.  Next I took some White Pigment Ink and a CottonTail Blending Brush (that is designated for White Pigment Ink only) and added the ink over the top of the stencil.  I made sure to not go over the trains at the top and bottom with the white pigment ink.  

Once the White Pigment Ink dried I then added a thin layer of Diamond Glaze over the snow globe's glass and the little heart.  When that dried I cut down the panel a little bit and added it to a light blue cardstock mat layer and then to my white card base.  And that my crafty friends finishes my card for today using the Baby's 1st Christmas Stamp Set.  Thanks for dropping by today and I hope that you have a wonderful crafty day!

Arctic Fox Card, Turning the Fall Foxes Wintery

 

Hi! Today I have a cute arctic fox winter card to share. I took this cute image from the Fall Foxes stamp set, illustrated by Agota Pop, and set him in a wintery background. 

I started by stamping the image onto a white cardstock base measuring 4.23x5.48 and then colored him using colored pencils. I also stamped a fussy cut a mask and placed it over my colored image. 

I then used the Making Waves stencil to mask off a hill and ink blended a blue sky. 

I wanted my fox to have a colorful scarf, so I decided to stamp the leaves included in the stamp set onto a separate scarf then fussy cut it out and adhered it over the uncolored scarf. paper piecing it on. (Head over to my blog to watch a short video of how I did it).

Next, I added some shading to the snow and beneath my fox using my colored pencils. 

To make it extra wintery, I splattered some white acrylic paint all over my panel.

When the splatters where dry, I stamped on my sentiment then adhered the panel onto a white, top folding card base.

It's Fall Y'all!

 Hi everyone!  Amy here today with this card I created featuring the super cute Fall Foxes Stamp Set and Falling Leaves Stamp both illustrated by Agota Pop.

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock with the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I used the Falling Leaves Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmalade, and Vintage Photo to create a gorgeous background.  I then stamped over the stenciled leaves in brown pigment ink with the Falling Leaves Stamp and clear heat embossed for some shine.  

Next, I stamped out this adorable fox from the Fall Foxes Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set. 

I die cut a brown banner using a die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I stamped the sentiment and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using brown cardstock for the base, and popped up the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glossy accents on the fox's nose, and a few Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

3D Gentle Hugs Cotton Bloom

Hello my crafty friends!  Thank you  for stopping by to check out this 3D Gentle Hugs Cotton Bloom card using The Rabbit Hole Designs new Soft Hugs Cotton Flower stamp set and some specialty papers.

This photo close up shows a very cool 3D effect achieved by stamping the same cotton bloom images on a piece of Ultra White Smooth cardstock and coloring both with OLO Markers.  I cut apart one of the colored panel pieces and shaped each individual cotton ball bloom.  Each piece is then glued into place over the same colored image on the second panel.

I used a large ball stylus and piece of molding foam to help shape each of the individual cotton bloom section before gluing it on the second panel.  You can see the evolution as each of the 3D pieces are glued into place.

I stamped the sentiment "Sending Soft Hugs" on the completed 3D cotton bloom panel.  I am using a dark brown cardstock cut to 4"  x 5 1/4" as the card front.  I wrap a piece of 3 1/2" x 5 1/2"white rayon weave specialty paper around the middle of the brown card front. The stamped 3D panel is glued on top of the card front layers and then adttached to an A2 white card base completing the card.
