Another fave from 2021: Head Over Clover about you!

Hey yall!  Happy Thursday!!  Tangii here and I'm sharing another fave from 2021. I just LOVE this fun lil St Paddy's tag.  I used the new Spring Florals #2 paper pack along with the Clover Bunny stamp & die sets.

I am in love with the yellows in the floral paper!  I just quickly colored up my bunny image and then used the die to cut him out (I LOVE coordinating dies!!!), doesn't he look great against that floral paper?!?

The sentiment is also from the set, I stamped it on a die cut piece of white cs and then kind of tucked it under the "hugs" a little.  My Clover Bunny is popped up and kind of sits on the sentiment (like a shelf).  You could certainly do some fancy coloring with this bunny, but I kept the coloring simple so I could easily make a handful of these!  These tags will go on Easter baskets!

Forward is Forward.... looking back ;)

 

Hi Everyone!  Vanessa here.  This month we are taking a look back at some of our personal favorite posts from this year.  The turtle botanical stamp is one of my most favorite TRHD stamps and I love the positive and encouraging message.  In case you needed to hear it:  Your speed doesn't matter, forward is forward.

Hello! Happy Wednesday to you all. I'm here today to share a card with you using the newly released Garden Trellis stencil paired up with an older set that I love. 

I used a slimline die set for this card. For the card front layer I stenciled onto light grey cardstock with white ink. This stencil is such a delicate design and so pretty, I've been loving to use white ink.

I also stenciled in white on darker grey cardstock and die-cut squares fitting the stencil design, then popping them up onto square mats using dimensional foam tape.

Stamp the beautiful turtle from the Turtle Botanical stamp set onto white cardstock, color and fussy cut out. Assemble your card, gluing all the pieces on, popping up the turtle with dimensional foam tape; stamp the sentiment.

Looking Back on a Favorite - Snail Mail

Hi everyone. Lauren here. This month we are taking a look back at some of our personal favorite cards we have created this past year. This cute card featuring the Snail Mail Flower stamp set is one of my favorites because it was the first actual card that I made using a gel press. I was so tickled by how this turned out!

I started out with an A2 (5.5x4.25) sized white cardstock panel and a small round Gel Press plate. Hold on...don't let the gel plate scare you! They are so fun AND easy to use!!

Onto the gel press, I smooshed Kitsch Flamingo, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. I used a small brayer to gently and lightly smooth any sharp lines in the ink.

Then, I laid the new Amanda, leaf stencil on top of the ink and carefully pressed it down with my fingers making sure that the stencil was making contact with the whole gel press. I lifted off the stencil and laid my white cardstock panel over top of the inked gel press. I rubbed back of the paper to make sure the paper was in full contact. Then I slowly lifted the panel off.

I let the ink on the panel dry then stamped the snail using Versamark Onyx Black ink. I also stamped the small "Hi" sentiment from the Miss you Space set because I think that's what the little snail is thinking!

To finish my card, I trimmed the panel using a wonky stitched rectangle die from my stash. Then, I backed it with a pink A2 cardstock panel and adhered it to a top folding card base!

I hope you like my sweet snail mail card and that it inspires you to give this technique a try!
