Foil Stenciling with the Butterfly 3x4 Stencil!

Hello, my crafty friends! For my card today I wanted to pull out some of my favorite mediums that I haven't used in quite a while!

This is the Butterfly 3x4 Stencil! This is the perfect size to add to any card, I also love this on a slimline. I used Decofoil transfer duo to add the holographic foil (Iridescent) which I thought added the right touch to this stencil. Once I had the foil in place I grabbed a few of my favorite dylusions sprays to add a little splatter to the background..

Love by Niccole

Hello everyone!

It's Niccole from Nic & Viv Designs back again to share another card I made using one of The Rabbit Hole Designs new stamp sets.

For today's card I used the Put A Bow On It stamp set. I love how versatile this stamp set is.

I have a lot of pictures today for you. This way I can show you each card and a close up of the foil on each card.

How to create this card:
  • Square card base that is 4.25"x4.25".
  • Stamp the bows stamp from the Put A Bow On It  stamp set with Versamark Ink on a 3.75"x3.75" square.
  • Add clear embossing powder and heat emboss bow image.
  • Cut a piece of foil to cover embossed image.
  • Run bow image with foil through laminator.
  • Remove foil to reveal foiled image.
  • Frame out square stamped image with coordinating color to frame it.
  • Add image to square card base.
  • Stamp the word LOVE from the Put A Bow On It stamp set in the bottom right corner at an angle coinciding with the heart shape.
  • Add a few black Nuvo Crystal Drops randomly to finish the card.
Here is one more picture of the full cards ...

What do you think of the three foiled Put A Bow On It cards? Which is your favorite I really love how they turned out.

Using our favorite boxer for this project available at Simon Says Stamp and at The Rabbit Hole Designs stores.

These are clear designer toner sheets. You get 4x A2 sheets in each pack and can be cut accordingly. This is similar to acetate, but already with an image printed on.

To color the toner sheet, choose a Deco foil transfer sheet color that will match your project. I used Emerald watercolor today. Links are on the images.

Here is how I made this Boxer shake:
*
**Switch on your laminator!***

1. Stamp, cut and color Boxer. I used Copics to color.
2.  Stamp and cut the sentiment.
3. Use a frame die to make the actual shaker part.

4. Cut the clear designer sheet to 4 x 5.25. You can also use a stitched die.
5. Cut a piece of transfer sheet big enough to cover the clear designer sheet.
6.  Following the instructions on the packaging, feed the sheet and toner sheet through a hot laminator. The "black" picks up the green and all the shine!
7. Adhere the frame to the designer sheet on top.
8. Apply foam tape underneath the sheet and frame. The frame hides the foam tape.
9. This is a top folding 4.25 x 5.5 card. Place sequins/shakers on top of the card and finish the shaker.
10. Apply the dog and sentiment, and you are done in 10 steps!
Hope you liked my card and all the elements I used from Therm-O-Web. These Clear Designer Toner Sheets are amazing and very easy to work with. I hope you will give it a try!
