Good Friends and Great Adventures!

Hello! It's Lauren here on the blog today sharing a fun scene using the adorable new Sail & Soar stamp set illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats. This set is perfect for creating so many adorable and whimsical cards.

To start my card, I first stamped the cute bunny images onto white cardstock in black ink. Then, I colored them using colored pencils and die cut them using the coordinating dies for the set.

Once my images were ready, I created the background for them. I used the Clouds in my Coffee Stencil with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to create soft clouds along the top long edge of an 8.5x3.5" slimline cardstock panel.

For the water I created a straight line across the bottom of my panel with washi tape, leaving approximately 0.5" below the tape. In that open area at the bottom of the panel, I ink blended Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink. Then I spritzed it with a little water, and carefully removed the tape. Tip: if the tape is sticking too much, you can warm it up using your embossing heat gun and it will come off the paper more easily.

Next, I adhered the bunny boat and bunny plane onto the panel. Then, I stamped the sentiment in between the two.

The last step was to adhere the panel onto a white slimline card base. I love how this sweet scene turned out and I hope it has inspired you to create a cute scene using this new set! Thanks for visiting!

Sail & Soar Coordinating Die Set: Sail & Soar Dies – The Rabbit Hole Designs

You're Just Plane Awesome!

Happy Sunday!!!!  Hope you're having a wonderful weekend, Tangii here sharing a card using the Sail & Soar set from  the NEW March release.  While the card itself is simple in design, I had some fun creating it! I stamped my scene and colored the bunny & clouds with Copics.

When it came to coloring up the airplane I decided to do a little experimenting.  I colored in the darker areas with a copic marker and left the rest white.  Then I went over the white areas of the plane with an brush embossing pen and then added some Embossing Glaze... WOWZA!  Did it ever have a fun effect!  The plane has this great watercolor/glazed look to it!  Such a fun and easy way to add a little dimension to a simple card.

You can also read about this card on my blog, here with links to the products I used, etc.  Thanks for popping by, come back again soon!

Clarence Good Egg Easter Card

Hi Friends! Kelly here & for todays card I used the newly released Clarence Good Egg.
To start off I stamped my image in Memento Tuxedo black ink & colored it with copics in a Warm gray & rainbow theme.
I used a wonky circle die to cut him out,  cut a hole with a hoke punch & added mint colored velvet trim & then added foam tape to the back of it.
I used SSS mint cardstock & embossed it with an Embossing Folder for some texture. I added a white & mint mat onto a white card base.
Next I stamped all my sentiments & cut them apart to create a label look and added a black marker on the edges.
I added some white gel pen & shimmer pen to my image
To finish it off I added some iridescent gems and that's it.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Balloon Party

What a sweet set!  The Balloon Party stamp set illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats was released this month, and it's darling.  Hi!  It's Vanessa, and today I have a slimline card to share with you. I created it using the Balloon Party stamp set, along with the Scripty word die LOVE.

I stamped and colored the bunny/whale/balloons onto white cardstock, colored with colored pencils, cut out and set aside.  Then I cut out the word Love many, many times.  I started at the top of my slimline card front panel and glued the love words across and hanging over the edges which I trimmed off later. I made sure I had space for the stamped sentiment by stamping that first. I glued the panel onto the black slimline card base and then attached the bunny/whale/balloons with dimensional tape.  Using some pretty sequins (included free in a trhd order), I glued a few on.  I added a piece of black and white twine tied along the side of the card to finish it off.
