Happy New Year

Hello there! Michelle here, sharing a card for the New Year! I started off by trimming a piece of cardstock slightly smaller than 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I used the cluster of bubbles from the stamp set Spellcaster Witch and stamped the background repeatedly.  I colored the bubbles using Copic Markers in shades YR30, YR21, YR31.  Next step, I stenciled the words New Year using Spell It Stencil. I inked the stenciled words using picked raspberry distress oxide ink.

Lastly, I stamped the 'Happy' sentiment from the set Scripty Happy Birthday. I added a few embellishments to finish the card, some clear gems to the word 'Happy', stickles clear glitter glue to the bubbles, and white accents to the stenciled words.  I adhered the decorated panel to a piece of glitter cradstock than adhered the glitter cardstock to the card base.

Thanks for stopping by for a peek!
I want to wish you all a very Happy and Healthy New Year!!!

Bloom Where You Are Planted

Hello there!
Michelle here, sharing a combination of two of the newest Botanical Stamp sets, Turtle Botanical and Flamingo Botanical. I chose to stamp the flowers with a no line coloring technique. I stamped the flowers using tea dye distress ink and colored with Copic Markers.
For the center flower: R35, R46, R56, and RV99
light orange rose: E93, E95, E97, and E99
yellow rose: Y11, Y13, Y15, Y35, and YR14
For the rose centers: E81, E84, E87, and E89

I stenciled the word 'bloom' using Spell It Stencil and distress oxide inks, barn door and black soot.
For the base cardstock I used our very own Jammie's shimmer cardstock.  I added a strip of glitter cardstock to the base of the panel and layered the flowers. I embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder and added some shimmer with stickles gold glitter glue.

Thanks for stopping by for a peek!!!
Have a great week!!

Wicked! slimline card

Hello my crafty friends! I hope you are having a wickedly great day!  I have been having such fun creating with The Rabbit Hole Designs witches stamps.  They are whimsy, fun and a tad sassy!
I finally got my hands on the Cocktail Witch stamp set and the sentiment stamp set - Things a Witch Might Say.  I paired them up with the Spell It stencil to create this fun layered slimline card.

I am really enjoy using alcohol markers to color with.  They blend beautifully. I try to keep it simple by using a light, medium and dark marker shade of each color family.  For instance the dress is colored in light medium and dark coral colored markers.

Using the Spell It stencil and my green Cotton Tail Blender Brush, I create a word "WICKED" across the top of the slimline card front with Twisted Citron Distress ink.  I stamped the sentiment "wicked never looked so good" (minus the word wicked) just under the right side of the stenciled WICKED.  I used double side foam adhesive to attach the Cocktail Witch to the right side of the card.  I added some bat bling and retro stars to the card front.  The card front is comprised of three layers of cardstock (darkest blue, cobalt blue and a pink printed cardstock) all layered on top of a lime green slimline card base.

Here are the Rabbit Hole Designs Products used

I hope you enjoyed this Wicked Slimline card  featuring the Cocktail Witch and Things a Witch Might Say stamp sets. I love hearing from you. Please leave me a message letting me know what you like most about the August Release from the Rabbit Hole Designs.

Mad for Stencils, Hi!

Hey yall!  Happy Wednesday!  Tangii here with another creation from the June release! I hope you are having a great week and doing something happy!  For my card today, I am using the NEW Aim for the Stars Stencil and pairing it up with the Spell-It stencil!

I started off using a scrap frame piece from one of my June peek cards.  I centered it on my scalloped rectangle base for a visual and then lined up the Aim for the Stars Stencil right where I wanted it.  Most of the stars are inside the frame, but I wanted some to spill outside the frame as well.  Once this was done I taped it off and blended in those stars!  I love the bright yellow, I feel it kind of brightens up those darker colors on the frame.

Next I layed the frame over the base piece again so that I could place my Spell-It stencil.  I taped off the letters I wanted (easy since they're right by each other, lol) and then added some Glitter Gel.  The card still seemed a little "flat" to me so I added a few sequins (you know the pretty ones MaryAnn sends in your packages sometimes?).  Voila!  Easy, peasy!

All of the items I linked in my post are available at The Rabbit Hole Designs which is open & shipping!

The Power of You

Hello there!
Michelle here. Stopping by to share a slimline card I created using one of the newest stamp sets
from the Old School Tattoo line, Horseshoe.
Image may contain: possible text that says 'lucky charm You are my LUCK'
I stamped the image with antique linen distress ink than used Copic Markers to color.
I used colors: horseshoe: C2, C3, C5, W7
flower: RV55, RV66, RV69, RV99; Y26, Y28
banner: YR21, YR23, YR24
I fussy cut the shoehorse and set aside.

I trimmed the background white panel to 3 1/4 x 8 1/4. I used two stencils, Spell It Stencil and
Tattoo Icons Stencil. First I used the Spell It Stencil to spell the word 'luck'. I used the horseshoe to replace the letter 'u'. I chose distress oxide inks in shades antique linen, fossilized amber, and vintage photo. Next, I used the Tattoo Icons Stencil and only inked up the mini horseshoe part of the stencil. I used spun sugar and picked raspberry inks, than added some shading with RV34 and N3 Copic Markers. I added some paint splatters with white and gold paint.

All embossing was done with black embossing powder.  I added two sentiments from the stamp set,
Old School Tattoo- Affirmation. I backed the panel onto gray cardstock than onto a card base that measures 3 1/2 x 8 1/2.
For a finishing touch I added shimmer with stickles glitter glue and scattered some sequins.

From OWL Of Us Card

Hey Everyone! Justin here, and today I'm sharing this fun creation using the new OWL-Right set, part of the Rabbit Hole Designs' March 2020 Release!

This little bunch of owl are so stinking cute, and I love that the possible color palettes to color them up are just endless. For today's card, I decided to throw a masculine color palette on them. Now, for me, this color palette could really be for anybody. When I create something that I want to give to a guy, I just make sure to not use any overly feminine themes.

First, I cut out a 4.125" x 5.375 panel and stamped my group of owls from OWL-Right in the lower center of the card. I colored the owls up using a red, denim and neutral gray color palette with my alcohol markers. Each owl only uses a 3 color blend for their feathers. Then I went in and added some details, such as a warm gray shadow underneath the lower row of owls, and light blue eyes for all of them that wash out to white towards the end.

Next, I wanted to use the set's sentiment "From OWL of us", because you can really use it for so many occasions: birthday, anniversary, retirement, congratulations, etc. However, I wanted to also use the Spell It Stencil to spell out "OWL" since I knew I would have the space. So, I lined up where my sentiment would fit, and carefully blended my O, W & L in red ink with a blending brush.

Tip for the Spell It Stencil: I'm sure that you've seen a lot of the Design Team and Rabbit Hole Crafters use the Spell It Stencil to spell things out on their projects, and one of the reasons why is that it is incredibly easy to do! Because the stencil is structured where each of the letters is broken into horizontal rows of lines, it's so easy to make sure that your letters are all lining up and not "wonky". For this card, I actually blended my "W" first, just to make sure it was centered. I then went in with my "O", finishing with my "L".

For the rest of my sentiment, I stamped out "From" and "of us" onto a navy blue strip of cardstock and heat embossed it with white powder. I cut the strips into small segments and mounted them to the card with foam tape.

To finish this card off, I adhered my white panel to an A2-sized navy cardstock panel, applied some red accents, let them dry, and mounted the card to an A2-sized card base!

Baaaaad Decisions

Hello Rabbit Hole Designs Fans!! DTM Shanna here today with my final post as a design team member for The Rabbit Hole Designs..  I appreciate the opportunity both Heather and MaryAnn gave me, and all of the encouraging and inspirational teamies I got to play along side throughout this journey!  It has been an unforgettable experience, Thank You!

Today I am sharing a card featuring the hilariously grumpy Caffeinated Goat.  If you have yet to notice, my favorite coloring medium here lately has been my Zig Real Brush pens, and this goat was an absolute joy to color!!  I paired it with a background I made using the Spell It stencil!!  Baaaaaad Goat!!

I chose a slimline card size, using some dies in my stash for the card base.  Masking off the letters on the stencil, I worked right to left to keep my spacing accurate.  I added the sentiment from the Caffeinated Goat directly under my stenciled lettering.  My Goat was then fussy cut and adhered using some foam tape to the left side of the card base.
Final touches included a smattering of sequins for a bit of texture and shine!

Well folks, that wraps up my post....
You will still be able to find me over on my blog, Caffeinated Craftiness or over on Instagram

Real life Caffeinated Goat!!!!

Puff and a Cuppa Coffee

Hello Rabbit Hole Designs Fans!! DTM Shanna here with another fun card using my newest favorite Caffeinated Critter, Caffeinated Dragon!
I was playing around with my Zigs again, and had a lot of fun making a green dragon.....pairing it with a background I made using the Spell It stencil!!  You know you are singing the song with me right now!!

To add some sparkle and detail to my critter, I used Liquid Pixie Dust, from Inkon3, to paint oval-scales on the body of the dragon.  This was my first time intentionally painting with the pixie dust, and oh my goodness will I be doing it again!  Subtle-sparkly-texture-goodness!!!

Lastly, I added a sentiment banner using a sassy sentiment from the Perfectly Blended sentiment set.  Dragons are old right? So of course they drank coffee before it was cool!!  (or so my 10 year old says!!!)

What is your go-to supply for sparkle??  I am enamored with the Liquid Pixie Dust right now, but have used many things in the past.

That wraps up my post for today, I will be back for another trip down The Rabbit Hole next week!  Until then you can find me over on my blog, Caffeinated Craftiness or over on Instagram
***BONUS*** I have a speed coloring video with me coloring this dragon over on my FB page and IGTV channel!!  Take a peek, I will be sharing it in the fan group as well!

Cupid is Stupid

The Spell It Stencil is absolutely one of my favorite stencils, because of it's versatility!  Hey, it's Cassie, back with another card for you today.  I have another anti-Valentine, because honestly I just love making them, lol.

Once again, I put the Spell It Stencil to great use and spelled out the word 'CUPID' all over my background just doing some ink blending.  It was so easy!  Then I stamped out my sentiments using the Sassy Anti Valentine stamp set, and even did some stamping on the inside of my card.

If you'd like to see exactly how I made this card, you can watch it here or head over to my YouTube Channel.

And here is a closer look at the products I used to make this card.

I hope you enjoyed what I made for you today and that you were inspired to go out and get a little crafty.

Good morning it's Lisa here with you this morning and welcome to the blog!
Today is my day on the blog and I have a snarky birthday card to share with you today. The brand new Sassy Birthday Sentiments 2 have some of the funniest birthday sentiments I've ever seen. I also love the new stencils available in the shop.  They work great as background stamps like the Twisted Sunshine Stencil or they can be masked off to create funny sayings like the "LOL" on my card using the Spell It Stencil! Since this is the birthday month for The Rabbit Hole Designs I decided to use their logo colors for this card.

Card Recipe

1) I started off by blending Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks over the Twisted Sunshine Stencil on to a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock.

2) Next I took the Spell It Stencil and masked off the "L" and the "O" so I could create the abbreviation "LOL" towards the bottom of the card.  I used Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink for this to complete the logo colors for The Rabbit Hole.

3) For the sentiment from Sassy Birthday Sentiments 2 I stamped it with Versamark Ink on to black card stock and heat embossed it with white powder then adhered it across the center of the card.

4) All that was left was to add some pretty Rabbit Hole sequins around the card for some fun!

I am really enjoying the Sassy Birthday sentiments, they are unexpected
and always get a good laugh from the recipient!
