Cake for everyone!

Hello crafty friends! Melinda here to share another card for The Rabbit Hole Designs January birthday release. 

For todays card I wanted to combine the Open Heart stencil and the Just Cake stamp and die.



I started by adding a touch of blue ink onto my panel. I made it darker in the center fading out to a lighter color. Next I added some Nuvo glitter paste and set aside to dry. I watercolored my cake and cut it out with the coordinating die. After my glitter paste was dry I cut my panel down to 3 3/4 inches by 5 inches. I popped the base layer up with some foam tape and then added my die cut cake which I also popped up with some more foam tape. 



 
I absolutely love the way the Open Heart stencil spotlights the main image on your card! This stencil isn't just for Valentines day, its great on any card.

Flirty Bunnies Gift Tag with Je t' aime

 Kelly here on the blog today for The Rabbit Hole Designs.
Are you getting ready for Valentine's Day?

I made this shaped tag to top a sweet treat for my sweetie.
The image is sweet and flirty and perfect for a card or tag.  

I cut the circle out of light pink card stock.

I used the "Open Heart Stencil" with a darker pink ink.
This can be done before or after die cutting the circle. 

I stamped, colored and cut out the sweet flirty bunnies
and hearts from "Je t'amie".  Hard to see but the girl bunny on the left has a bit of pink on her cheek.

I adhered the bunnies and the hearts with foam.

Its All About Love AND stencils!

 Hello crafty people! Thanks for stopping by today to take a look. Todays card is all about love! 
I wanted to create a nice clean and simple card with the Open Heart stencil. I started out by applying a tiny bit of bright pink ink and then spread on some Faber Castell glass bead glitter gel. I let the panel dry over night to let it get completely dry. I didn't want to be tempted to touch it before it was totally dry.



After the panel was completely dry I added a frame around the panel. 
 Next I stamped the sentiment from the Je t'aime stamp set on a die cut heart and added a bit of silver thread behind it for a little touch of fancy.
