Rock Garden

Happy weekend yall!!!!  Tangii here with another card using the Desert Background set, just showing you how awesome this background set is even if you don't enjoy coloring or sometimes don't have time to color!
So first off, I die cut some chat bubbles on masking paper, then placed the masks on my card base.  Once they were in place, I grabbed a few Distress Oxide inks and my Bitty Bunny Blending brushes and got inky!  Then removed the masking paper.  I went over this whole thing with a heat gun a little just to dry out those Oxides.  Next you're going to want to go over the whole piece with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool, just to be sure none of your EP sticks to that Oxide Ink!

Next up, I stamped my Desert Background image with some embossing ink and some Rose Gold EP.  I just LOVE the look of the Rose Gold!  Finally I stamped my sentiments from the SXS Life set in the "chat bubbles".

You can also read about this card on my blog, here with links to the products I used, etc.  Thanks for popping by, come back again soon!

Clarence Has Regrets!

Hello! It's Lauren here today to share this fun card featuring a skydiving Clarence! By the look on his face, I think he is regretting being talked into this skydiving adventure! Poor Clarence!

I started out by stamping the Clarence image a few times onto a white A2 (4.25x5.5") cardstock panel. Then colored them all up using colored pencils.

I then stamped and fussy cut a few masks to cover the images I colored so I could ink blend the sky.

With the images colored I used the individual clouds from the Clouds in My Coffee Stencil to create my sky with Distress Oxide ink that I had left on my blue blending brush.

Next, I stamped my sentiment in black ink and used a stitched rectangle, A2 sized die from my stash to trim the panel.

I adhered the panel to a white, top folding, A2 sized card base to finish this fun card.

I hope this inspires you to create something fun! Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful day!

That'll Buff Right Out

Happy Friday-eve!!!!  Tangii here with another easy and fun card that could be great for a masculine card!  A little ink blending here, a little heat embossing there and a smidge of patterned paper and voila!

So first off, I stamped my SXS Life image with some embossing ink and some ultra fine black EP.  After heat embossing the image I got my Up in Flames stencil in place and grabbed a few Distress Oxide inks and my Bitty Bunny Blending brushes and got to work. The Getting Inky papers are perfect for paper piecing or in this case adding some texture elements... tell me that blue ink paper doesn't make the coolest clouds!  The clouds and the sentiment are all popped up with foam tape.

You can also read about this card on my blog, here with links to the products I used, etc.  Thanks for popping by, come back again soon!

Good Friends and Day Rides

Hello TRHD friends! I am sharing another fun card using the SXS Life 6x8 stamp set and the Up in Flames 6x6 Stencil.

My clouds are made from a hand cut stencil from a friend that I have had for years. I used alcohol markers to color the image, and Distress Oxide inks for the sky and flames.

The SXS Life stamp set (illustrated by Dustin Pike) is exclusive to TRHD. Profits from every sale will go to fund injured drivers/riders, families of drivers/riders who have lost their lives, and organizations that promote & educate driver and rider safety in the off-road environment. This will be for the lifetime of the stamp set in the TRHD shop.

You can find more of my projects on my blog: Joy in a JAR. Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Birthday!

Hello! Vanessa here today to share with you this card I created using the new SXS life stamp set illustrated by Dustin Pike, and the Up in Flames stencil. This SXS set is an Exclusive Stamp Set that can only be purchased through The Rabbit Hole Designs. It's a big, fun set. Check it out: 100% of the Profits from that set, for as long as TRHD carries it, will be donated to families for injured or casualty riders who have been affected, and/or to organizations to help keep trails safe, including rider education.

For this card I used Arteza pearl acrylic paints on my gel press, and laid the stencil on top, removed the stencil and pulled that background. Then in black archival  ink, I stamped the sxs and the happy birthday sentiment (from Clarence Birthday). I matted it to gold cardstock and then to the black card base. Easy masculine birthday card.

SXS Life 6x8

Hello all, Amanda here with The Rabbit Hole Designs. Today I wanted to share with you my last card for this months release using the stamp set SXS Life 6x8 and the Stencil Up in Flames 6X6
I first stamped my side by side in black ink and them I used various shades of red in copic markers.

For the stencil I used a glitter glaze to make the flames shine.
Used a postage die set and die cut it out, then placed it on red paper.
Great set for Masculine cards.
Well I hope you enjoyed and have a great day!

Good things come to those who bait!

Hello crafty friends! Welcome to today's the Rabbit Hole Designs blog.  Isn't this a sweet and punny card?  I created a pop up card and added my own sentiment, Good things come to theose who bait!  I am using the new Rubber Ducky Fishing stamp set.  It is a illustration created by artist Dustin Pike.
I usied the Niccole Uppercase and Lowercase Alphabet dies to die cut the sentiment words.  I die cut the words from a verigated water color printed cardstock.  You can see the colors gradually change as you read the sentiment. I wanted to match the color change in the background behind the Rubber Ducky-Fishing image.  You can see the word Bait matches the water in the ducky's background.
I used a tunel card base die to form the inital pop out background inside the card.  I added a narrow blue cardstock pop out in front of the tunnel base to create a waterline level.  This is where the Rubber Ducky - Fishing image is attached to.
I love coloring animal images to look like real life animals.  I Googled mallard ducks and colored the Rubber Ducky-Fishing stamp in the mallard likeness with my TriBlend alcohol markers.
This photo gives you a good look at the layers of the pop out of the background tunnel base with the Rubber Ducky - Fishing stamps set.
