Just A Note To Cheer You Up!

Hi everyone! Von Marie here and I am so excited to be on TRHD Blog today. I have a Mini Slimline card and matching envelope to share with you using some of my favorite TRHD products.

On this Mini Slimline Card I used the New Tastes Like Honey Stencil, Come Fly With Me, and Pretty in Peony Stamp Set. I first ink blended white cardstock with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink. I then used the Tastes Like Honey Stencil with a yellow glitter paste and spatula. I then cut it out with a Mini Slimline Die.

I stamped the Peony Flower and greenery with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink onto Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. I colored them in with my Altenew Artist Markers and fussy cut them out. I then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with Versamark ink and Wow white embossing powder using the Come Fly With Me stamp set onto Black Cardstock 80lb. I used a banner die to cut the sentiment out. I then added my panel onto a Mini Slimline Card base. My peony and sentiment were then added with foam squares. I added sequins and Sparkle and made a mini envelope to match using the same stencil and paste. I hope you have enjoyed my project. Thank you for stopping by!

Come Fly with Me Easy Slider

Hello my crafty friends! Today I am using the New Come Fly with Me Stamp & Coordinating Die set to make this easy slider slimline card!

I knew I wanted to have a cloudy background so I pulled out the Clouds in my Coffee 6x6 Stencil I love the realistic look of these clouds! I used a few of my blue distress oxides to add a little definition.

I used my zig markers to add a nice pastel color to the flowers and leaves that are lifting this sweet bunny up in the air. For the slider, I just grabbed a die from my stash and saved the piece it cut out so that I could inlay it back into the card.

I really love the softness I got from using softer colors. For the sentiment, I didn't want a harsh black so I found a blue embossing powder and heat embossed the sentiment, and added another cloud just to keep the theme going

Our Friendship is the Greatest Adventure!

Hello Everyone! Von Marie here and I am so happy to be on the blog today. I have a fun and sweet card to share with you using some of my favorites of TRHD products.

On my Slimline card I used Come Fly With Me Stamp Set, Come Fly With Me Die Set, and Clouds in my Coffee Stencil. I first stamped this image onto Watercolor paper with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink using my Misti to get a good crisp image. I then colored it in with my Gansai Tambi Watercolors and my Black Velvet brush and some water. I flickered some pink paint splatters when I was done coloring. I then used the dies to cut my image out.

I used a Slimline die from my stash to cut out my background panel with 110lb cardstock. I then used the Clouds in my Coffee stencil with Brocken China Distress Oxide ink and my Cotton Tail Blending Brush. I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock and cut it out with my trimmer. I added my panel and my image to a Slimline card base. I then added foam tape to the back of my sentiment and added it to my panel. I had this bow on my desk and it matched the flowers so I added it. Lastly, I added drops and sequins to match. I hope you like my card.

Hello! Kim here to share with you a card featuring the super adorable "Come Fly With Me" stamp set from the March release. Aren't the new releases from our new artist Tatsiana amazing???

I started out with cutting down a piece of blue cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4". Then I used the "Clouds in my Coffee" Stencil and blended Speckled Egg Distress Oxide over it to fill the background. I attached that to my white card base. Next I stamped The bunny image using Memento Black ink. I colored the image in with Copic markers and added a white dot to the cheeks using a white Signo pen. The Copics I used are as follows:

Bunny: W00, W0, R11, R30

Basket E40, E41, E43

Bow BG000, BG01, BG02, BG05

Flowers R24, R27, R29

YR4, YR7, YR9

Y13, Y15, Y17

YG13, YG17

BV01, BV02, BV04

BG01, BG02, BG05

I die cut the image out using the Come Fly With Me die and then I fussy cut it to remove the white border. The reason I did that was because I also cut a piece of the blue cardstock out with the die so I could layer it behind the image. Then I adhered foam tape behind it and put it on the cloud background panel. I stamped the sentiment "We rise by lifting others" on a piece of white cardstock and cut flags out of each side. I placed a skinny strip of black cardstock behind the piece with the sentiment and glued it to the balloon. I added a piece of foam tape behind the part of the sentiment that hung off the balloon. To finish it off, I added a few enamel dots from my stash. I just love how bright and cheerful this is.

Just a Note...

Hello my crafty friends! Today I am on The Rabbit Hole Designs Blog share a simple card to cheer you up! I am using the Come Fly With Me stamp set. I used the cluster of bows from this stamp set for the embossed background.

I stamped the bow image with clear pigment ink on the lower part of a 4: x 5 ¼” piece of pink cardstock. I added clear embossing powder and heat set it with my heat gun. I stamped the sentiment “Just a note to cheer you up” on white cardstock, masking the stamp and positioning the image in a straight line. I cut the sentiment strip and mounted it on a black strip that was slightly wider than the sentiment. I cut notches at each end and attached it to the pink card front in the middle of the ribbon cluster. I mounted the pink card front onto a piece of 4 1/8’ x 5 3/8” black cardstock. I took a piece of black organza ribbon and tied it around the card front in the center of the card, just above the stamped ribbons and tied it in a bow. The card front is then positioned and mounted on a white A2 card base. Lastly I added some black gem embellishments to each side of the sentiment strip and the corners of the card.
