Oh, so excited bunny! card - using the Dotted Flower Stencil.

Hello my crafty friend!  Today I am on the blog with my Oh so happy bunny card featuring the Dotted Flower Stencil and the Caffeinated Rabbit stamp set.  It looks like you caught him.in the act of hiding his Easter egg. You can tell how excited he is by the look of joy on his face!
I started out by using a piece of pale yellow cardstock cut to 4" my 5 and 1/4".   I use the dotted floral stencil  with a n oange distressed oxide ink to create the background.   I thought it looked either like the sunshine bouncing around or a Bunny bouncing around.

I colored the caffeinated rabbit using my alcohol markers. I decided to use graze along with light blues and light pinks for highlights and shadows. I had an egg stamp which was zigzag/chevron and I stamped in light yellow creating a yellow and white chevrons egg.  I used alcohol markers to colored the parts of the egg that were left white using light pink, orange, and blue. To create the depth of the Easter egg, I used a pale purple the lightest grey for shadowing and a blender pen and weight gel pen for highlights and fussy cut it out. I also  fussy cut the rabbit, cutting the coffee cup out of image so I could place the egg in the rabbits grasp.

I grabbed my go to grass die in created the green grass for the base of the card front.  I had two sentiments in my stash that I thought would be perfect for the set, "You found me" and "so egg-cited".  I stamped them on the left side of the card.   I glued the rabbit on the right side of the card in the grass and glued the egg (at an angle) in his hands.  I stamped the #hare-lyawake" sentiment (from the Caffeinated Rabbit stamps set) in the grass, underneath the rabbit.  To finish the card I glued this card front on to a blue A2 card base.

I hope this inspires you to try a stenciled background  on your next creation.

Coffee is the new Black

Hello and welcome TRHD fans!  Shanna here today to share another adorable  card featuring the caffeinated critters from The Rabbit Hole Designs
The critter line is my favorite (no big secret there!!!) and I had so much fun combining a few trouble makers for this card!

I started by coloringstamping the Caffeinated Rabbit, Caffeinated Unicorn, and Caffeinated Dino in Versa Clair Nocturne ink on a 5x7 panel of bristol cardstock
Next I watercolored them all using my Zig Real Brush pens...I especially had fun individualizing their mugs!  That volcano still makes me giggle!!

Next I drew a light pencil line to guide my floor coloring, and watercolored it as well.
For the background I wanted a "line up" look, so I got handy with my ruler and drew lines every 1/4 inch.  Every fourth line I made slightly larger, and added height measurements.  Bring up the question...

"How tall are the critters!?!"

Lastly I added my sentiment.  I had a couple I liked, but decided to go with "Caffeine, because prison orange is not flattering" from the Perfectly Blended sentiment set.  It seemed all to appropriate for the scene!  I heat embossed it on black cardstock with white embossing powder.

That wraps up todays card, hope you all enjoyed it!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by! You can see more of my creations on my blog Caffeinated Craftiness, or be sure and follow my crafty adventures over on Instagram!
 See you all soon!

Take Life One Sip At a Time

Hello The Rabbit Hole Designs fans!  Maria here with you and it's my day to take over the TRHD blog.   For today's project, I am showcasing the Caffeinated Rabbit and the Perfectly Blended stamp set.

I have a cute and simple card for you today with one of my favorite caffeinated creature.

Here's how I made the card:
  • stamp the rabbit image on smooth white card stock and color the images in with alcohol markers (or any medium of your choice).
  • die-cut the image with an electronic die-cutting machine or fussy cut with scissors.  I used my Brother Scan N Cut 2.
  • cut an A2 size piece of smooth white card stock and use the solar burst stencil and a blending brush with Tattered Rose distress oxide ink and antique linen to add color to the background.
  • use the "hello" die to die-cut the word from the background.
  • adhere some fun foam to the back of the card stock and adhere this piece onto a chocolate brown card base.
  • line up the negative pieces of the die-cut and adhere using liquid glue.
  • adhere the bunny on top of the "hello" using liquid glue.
  • finish the design by adding the sentiment from the Perfectly Blended stamp set.

Here's a closer look:

Another simple card but I really love how it turned out.  If you are looking for further details about my project including supplies used, I would be so grateful if you can stop by my blog today at:

Happy Birthday To Me!

Good morning Rabbit Hole fans, I hope you're having a good week!
It just so happens that today is my 50th birthday so I thought it only
appropriate to make a birthday card.
I thought it would be fun to incorporate a bunch of the caffeinated
critters on my card.  Putting party hats on their heads just made
me laugh since they don't look like they are in a party mood.
It's been a rough week for me so it's kind of appropriate that these
guys aren't smiling.
All in all though I really like how the card came out, the rainbow
letters really stand out against the black and white background.
Here is a list of all the caffeinated critters used on my card:

Thanks for joining me today for my birthday, I hope you enjoyed
my card, these caffeinated critters really can be used for any
type of card you want to make..... just change up your sentiment.

Depresso Bunny Shaker

Good morning crafty friends! It's Lisa here and it's
my day on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog.  I have a
fun card to share with you using the brand new

Since the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is still going on until May 10th, I
made a coffee themed card with the help of one of the funny sentiments from the
Perfectly Blended stamp set.  Whether you are making a coffee or tea themed card,
this set has a sentiment for you!

I started by stamping the sentiment stamps and the caffeine molecule
from the Caffeinated Rabbit stamp set all over some kraft colored
card stock in black ink. I made a shaker card frame out of teal card stock and
filled it with lots of fun sequins! The Rabbit was colored with Copic markers
and I put him inside the shaker so the sequins would lay on top of him.
I love how it looks when the sequins are partially on the image.
