One Line Flower Stamp set

Be-you-tiful Floral Shift

Welcome to The Rabbit Hole Designs blog! I am using the One Line Flower stamp set to create today's card.

I used a stencil for a background I created a few months ago. I thought these two would pair together nicely. I stamped the One Line Flower image with VersaMark watermark stamp pad and heat embossed the stamped image in black embossing powder. I did the same with the Be-you-tiful sentiment.

I have recently discovered shift watercolor paints. I am mesmerized by the way the color changes (shifts) as you move the cards so the light hits it at different angles. I painted the petals in Scarlet Red very fine glitter watercolor and in the areas that overlap, I used a color shift paint called Oil Slick.

You can see the how the color shifts from a rusty pink to a purple in this photo. I think it adds just the right amount of interest to this card

I die cut the panel with a scallop edge border die and tied a thin black organza ribbon in a bow around this layer. I attached this to a layer of dark purple cardstock and attached these two layers to a red A2 card base to complete the card.

For a Brew-ti-ful Mother!

You're Brew-ti-ful, Happy Mother's Day! Welcome to today's The Rabbit Hole Designs blog. I hope you enjoy this brew-ti-ful card. I used the Spring Coffee stamp set and colored it with Copic alcohol markers. After coloring the image, I die cut the cardstock with a rectangular scallop die and glued it to the front of a teal A2 card base.

Using a light box, I set down a piece of grid paper and then a piece of vellum on top of it. I used the light box and grid paper to help me lineup my handwriting to create the sentiment "You're Brew-ti-ful Happy Mother's Day!" I wrote it in a fine line permanent marker. I cut the vellum sentiment into a strip and ran it through a sticker maker to get adhesive over the entire back of the vellum. I adhered the hand written sticker sentiment to the top of the card to complete it.

C-Ant Kick the Habit

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to the The Rabbit Hole Design Blog today! This is Jenn Gross and I am sharing this fun card C-ant Kick the Habit. It features the ant stamp from the Buggy for Caffeine stamp set. I think this ant is ready for a picnic, or at lease getting ready to grab some of the leftovers.

I colored the ant with alcohol markers using red and browns adding in some purple for the abdomen. I think the teal slippers and coffee cups give nice pop of color. The background of tall grass and a cloudy sky is framed in picnic red and black creating a focal point for the ant!

I created a likeness of a disposable coffee cup for the ant to stand on. I imagine it is his own personal coffee stash that he can visit when he needs his next cup! I shaded the cup and used pencils to draw and shade the lid. I stamped the "C-Ant Before Coffee" sentiment on the coffee cup sleeve to complete the scene.
