Trick or Treat Smell my Feet...

Hello crafty friends and welcome to The Rabbit Hole Designs blog.  I created a slimline door card using the The Right Shoes stamp set as door decor.  You may  also notice the panel pattern created in the door.
I stamped the shoe image with Black ink and colored it with Copic alcohol markers.  It is cut it out and set it aside.
The door is created by gluing strips of aqua cardstock on a diagonal pattern onto a 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" white cardstock card front. Trim off the excess slats and cut it into two 8 1/2"x 1 3/4" strips.  A simple turn of one of the strips will create  a chevron pattern when the two sides are plaed next to each other. Adhere these two pieces to a second sheet of 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" white cardstock. Trim them to size creating two door panels.  Frame them with strips the of 1/4" aqua cardstock.  You can see each aqua panel  sits upon a white layer and those two pannels are on top of a full aqua layer for the card front and attached to a Slimline white card base.  A door knob was added using a mat silver rectangle and two different size black gems.  The shoes are added last using adhesive foam squares.

Here are The Rabbit HoleDesigns products used in this card:

Monochrome Shoes

Hello crafters!  Joy, here with a classic monochromatic scheme featuring "The Right Shoes."  I think Marilyn was right, the perfect shoe makes you feel like you can conquer the world and that is exactly what we all could use right now!

Making this card was easy, but it has such an impact with the monochromatic scheme.  I started the project by blending Black Soot Distress ink through the Cat eye stencil for the background, and then started on the front panel.  I heat embossed the focal image and spiders from The Right Shoes stamp set with versamark and then embossed with the silver powder.  I then trimmed down the panel and matted it with a silver and black layer.  I repeated the same process with the sentiment and added the banner and added the green enamel dots.

Witches need the right shoes too!

Hi there! Kimberly here to share this card using this month's new release The Right Shoes illustrated by Tatsiana!

To make this quick and easy card, I began ink blending Pumice Stone distress oxide through the Back Alley stencil. Then, I stamped the spider from The Right Shoes stamp set around the perimeter and colored them with Copic Markers. Next, I stamped the shoes from The Right Shoes stamp set and colored it with Copics. I fussy cut them out and added foam tape behind the shoes to adhered it to the stenciled card panel.  To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment and layered it on a piece of purple cardstock from my stash. Then I added foam tape to the sentiment and adhered it to the card. Lastly, I added foam tape to the stenciled panel and popped it up on a black card base.

Thank you for stopping by!

Spider Glam

Hi everyone! Lauren here to share a spooky yet inspirational slimline card. I used one of the spiders from the new The Right Shoes stamp set illustrated by in house artist Tatsiana Zayats. These spiders are super fun and easy to color!

I started out by creating a slimline panel using a stitched rectangle slimline die from my stash. Then, I stamped the spider at varying heights along the card using black ink.

Next, I colored them using colored pencils in shades of cool grey.

To create the web lines, I used used a black fine line marker with a ruler.

For my glammed up spider, I stamped the spider on watercolor paper. I used a neon orange watercolor brush marker to color her up. Once she was dry, I fussy cut her out and adhered her on top one of the existing spiders on my panel. I added extra bling using an orange and black sequin.

The sentiment that I stamped in the open area below the spiders came from the Turtle Botanical stamp set. It is one of my all time favorite sentiments!

I think this is a really great inspirational card to send out in the Halloween season. Thanks for visiting! For more awesome inspiration check out these places:

Halloween Treat Tag

Hello again my crafty friend! It's Amanda from Pear Blossom Press again, with a fun new Halloween tag to share. I combined the spiders from The Right Shoes stamp set, with florals from Pretty in Peony to create a sophisticated, yet creepy tag. It's perfect to tie onto a bottle of wine, for a more grown up Halloween treat. Don't you agree?

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'll be back soon with another fun project to share. In the meantime, check out these awesome places for more inspiration...

The Shoe Fits!

Hello my crafty friends, today I am on The Rabbit Hole Designs Blog sharing this fun shoe card and I added some sassy legs. I know for a fact, the shoe fits!

The Right Shoes is a spooktacular stamp set! The illustration is by artist Tatsiana Zayats. The image is a pair of hanging ankle boots, but I took the artistic liberty to create crossed legs coming out of those boot!
This is a clean and simple card with the colored image fussy cut and raised slightly on the card front using foam squares.  The sentiment is stamped in VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink over the Cat's Eye stencil creating a fun look for the card front, but not taking away from the shoes.
I use non conventional Halloween colors (teal and Purple). The image is stamped in Nuvo Almond Cream ink to create a no line coloring with Copic markers.
I added the legs and colored them to look like a purple leggings.  I drew the black cobwebs on top of them to give a fishnet stocking look.
