Doggone, It's Your Birthday

Kelly here on the blog today.
I am very excited to share this birthday card with stamps and a stencil by The Rabbit Hole Designs, LLC.

I created the background with the "Candy Twist" Stencil.
I masked off one of the candies and used three different inks.
I cut a circle and used distress ink to create the sky and grass.
I stamped the dog from "Doggone", colored him with copic makers and cut him out.
I swiped the inks to paper to get perfectly matched balloons to the stenciled pattern in the background. The balloons were made with a punch.
I stamped the sentiment from the "Doggone" stamp set on the circle.
I added Nuvo glaze to the balloons.
So fun to create and I think this is perfect for anyone at any age!

I hope you enjoyed my birthday version of DOGGONE!

Doggone It, Be My Valentine!

Valentine's Day is coming! I'm sharing a card featuring many products from  The Rabbit Hole Designs

I love this card so much and I cannot wait to give it to the Hubs!!

I stamped the background using the paw print and bone
from the "Doggone" set with brown ink on kraft paper.
Several paw prints in the set to pick from.

I used gold glitter glitz gel with the "Candy Twist" stencil.
Once it dried, I cut it out with a heart die.

Then I stamped, colored and fussy-cut my pups.

I stamped & colored the large open hearts
from "Love You More" to create balloons.

I stamped the sentiments from "Doggone".

There's glitter pen on the dog's scarf and Nuvo Glaze on the balloons.

Doggone treats!

Hello Rabbit Hole Designs Fans!! DTM Shanna here today with a fur-baby treat bag for your favorite pup!  I loved creating these simple treat bags filled with Milk Bones and embellished using the Doggone stamp set!

I got some 4x6 cello bags from Amazon, and made a topper to staple onto the top, easiest thing ever and SO customizable!
I cut my base cardstock (happened to be wintery patterned paper from my stash) at 4.25" x 6" and scored at 3" on the long side.  I freehand cut the gray polka dot down the middle of a rectangle to create 2 hills with one single cut, NO WASTE!  I adhered those onto the patterned paper, and matted then mounted it to the scored base.

The dogs and the little icons from the Doggone set I stamped onto a gray kraft cardstock and then die cut into a circle and then adhered to the topper.

There are a ton of different sentiments you can choose to place, or just go simple and stamp "WOOF".

To finish it off, I folded the topper along the scored line and stapled it directly to the top of the treat bag after folding it down a bit to seal.  All done!

Do you make fur-baby treats??

That wraps up my post for today, I will be back soon for another trip down The Rabbit Hole!  Until then you can find me over on my blog, Caffeinated Craftiness or over on Instagram-Shanna

Calling dog lovers!

Hello friends and welcome back to the rabbit hole!

Echo here from Stamp N Ground.

Oh no, what did these dogs do? Calm down maybe the cat is just sleeping or maybe not? I thought it would be fun to make a scene with these stamp sets. I don not wish any animals any harm. I am more of a dog lover but there are a few cats around that have won my heart!

How to:
I stamped, colored, and fussy cut dogs and cat. Ink blended on a a Bristol smooth card panel is distress oxides in old paper, evergreen bough, and black soot. Splattered with water and lifted the ink up with a paper towel. Then splattered with diluted acrylic black paint. Die cut the birch tree. Then I shaded the trees with Copic markers in warm grays. Glued tress to card panel. Then die cut hill from grey card stock. I didn't like the grey so I ink blended it with distress oxide in black soot. I wanted it to be a touch lighter in color then the die cut grass. Die cut grass in black card stock. I used foam tape to pop up grass and the dog on the hill. For my details on this card head over to my blog.

Doggone it! I fur-got!

Hello everyone! It's Amanda W. taking over today with a super fun belated birthday card using Doggone!

Here's how I did it.
  • Stamped, colored and cut the pups from Doggone and set them aside.
  • Die cut the back panel, masked and inked it for dirt, grass and sky. Then reversed the masking and stamped the paws and bones around the edge.
  • I added it to a card base and popped the pups up with foam squares.
  • Last I heat embossed my sentiment and cut it into strips. I adhered them with foam strips.

I have so many dog lovers in my life I just might have to "fur-get" a birthday so I can use this. Ha! Ha!

Doggone Birthday

Good morning Rabbit Hole fans!
It's Lisa here with you today and I have a fun shaker card to share with you
using the Doggone stamp set.

I just love the looks on the dogs faces in this stamp set!
I also love making shaker cards and I never have enough birthday cards on hand.

Card Recipe

1)  I layered some cute dog themed patterned paper on a kraft card base.

2) Next I covered the patterned paper with another smaller kraft panel and stamped
my sentiment directly in the center.

3) Then it was time to create a shaker frame from more kraft paper and acetate.

4) I poured some red and gold sequins over the sentiment to match the patterned paper
and then laid the shaker frame over the sequins.

5) The last step was to color my cute doggies with some Copic markers
in some light grays and adhere to the shaker frame.

Easy peasy and a cute card to give for some belated birthday wishes!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and make sure to check back
on the 29th for the exciting August release!

Feline Fine- with Katie

Hey, Hey, Katie here today!  Let's see, what day is it?  Wednesday!  Oh wait, it is only Tuesday- lame, but Happy Almost Hump Day to you!

Last week I had one for the dog lovers and today I have one for the cat lovers... with a teensy bit (literally) of dog too.  Hopefully this one makes someone feel a teensy bit better if they are under the weather.

Here is how I made it:
  • Started by stamping my cats and pups from Cattitude and Doggone on Copic Friendly paper.
  • I die cut them out using my ScanNCut and colored them with my copics.
  • For the dog, I paper pieced a bit of plaid paper for his scarf.
  • Next I die cut the blueprint die using a light shade of brown paper.  Then I mounted it on Kraft.
  • I decided where I wanted to place each of my critters and then set them aside.
  • I stamped the paws and the different bits of sentiment in the different grids based on where I wanted the pets.
  • Lastly, I came back in and added my pets using foam tape.
My biggest challenge with this card was the Tortoiseshell Kitty, but I think it turned out pretty good.  What do you think? Have you attempted this type of pet coloring? What was your technique and how did it turn out?

Well, I had such a fun time making this card and I hope it perks someone up. :)

Pet Lovers with Katie

Hey there pet lovers!  Katie here with a sweet scene today that will make you want to give your pet a hug!

Isn't that the sweetest thing?  A tiny girl looking up at her dog in awe!  He is just towering over her, so cute.

Here is how I made this card:
  • First I stamped and colored my pup from Doggone and colored it with my Copics.  I fussy cut it out and set it aside.
  • Next, I masked and stamped the little girl from the We Are Family set.  I colored her and paper pieced the shirt, then fussy cut her as well
  • Then I die cut the scalloped circle and stamped the sentiment (from Doggone).
  • I added some cloud dp and die cut some grass and added it to the scene.
  • Next I placed my critter and his kid, using some foam tape.
  • I mounted this all on the same paper as the girls shirt, which was then mounted on white cardstock measuring 6 X 4.
Here is a close up:

As my teamies pointed out, this would make a great (sniffle) pet sympathy card.  BUT, I prefer to think of it as a simple I miss you or thinking of you card. Wouldn't that be fun?  I know just who I will send it to. ;)

Doggone Simple!

Hello everyone!  Shanna here again today And I am sharing a fun  and easy card featuring TRHD newest release, Doggone.  This card came together quickly, as it involves NO COLORING ! *gasp*. I truly love coloring,  but every once and a while I like the simplicity of leaving the stamps to stand out on their own..
I started with a white 110lb cardstock base slightly smaller than 4.25x5.5".  I stamped each of the dogs included in Doggone scattered and partially off the base to create a "frame" effect using VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink (my hands down favorite black!).  I added in some paw prints, bones, and "woof" sentiment to fill in some more space.  Lastly I heat embossed my sentiments in white on some black cardstock and cut down to strips.

Easy peasy, and a great beginner card!  These images are so cute, they can totally be left uncolored! If you haven't already checked out the *pawsome* new release this month, head on over to The Rabbit Hole Designs website and take a woof, err I mean look!
Well, that's all today....Thank you so much for stopping by!  Be sure to swing by and say hi over at my blog, and follow along with my caffeinated adventures on Instagram!  See you all again soon
