Glimmer Trees and a Goodbye

Hello everyone!
It's Lisa here with you today from Oh So Cute By Lisa and I have some news to share with you. This will be my last post for The Rabbit Hole Designs design team. I have had the pleasure of watching this company grow since the beginning and I wish them continued success in the future!

For my last post on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog I have a Christmas card using the brand new Slice of Christmas stencil and the previously released Love You More - Christmas Frost stamp set and Candy Twist stencil.

I just love the whimsical trees in the stencil and I thought that they should be the main focus on my card. For the background I wanted a soft and pretty pattern so I took some Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink and the brand new Cotton Tail Blending Brushes and applied the ink over the Candy Twist stencil. I used a very light hand to give the background a soft patterned look.  The next step was to place the Slice of Christmas stencil over the background and apply some Nuvo Glacier Paste in Golden Era over the middle tree and Sea Sprite glacier paste over the two outside trees. I just love the elegant and shimmery look it gave to the trees.

For the sentiment I made a smaller piece of the stenciled background and heat embossed the sentiment from the Love You More - Christmas Frost stamp set in gold. I placed the sentiment panel and the background panel on to some pretty patterned paper to make them stand out. The scalloped panel on the card base was cut using a scalloped rectangle die.
I wanted a little extra sparkle on my card so I added in some pretty sequins all over!

Thanks for joining me today for my last Rabbit Hole post!

Santa Tag

Hi, it's Lisa here from Oh So Cute By Lisa and today I have a Christmas tag that I created using the new stamp set released by The Rabbit Hole Designs called Kringle. I started off by die cutting the largest tag from a stitched scalloped tag die in white card stock.
For the background of the tag I used the Candy Twist Stencil and some Nuvo Glacier Paste in Golden Era. While the Nuvo paste was drying it was time to prepare Mr. Kringle for the tag.
I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored him in with my Copic Markers.
My Scan n Cut did a great job of cutting him out and for some extra added fun I added some fun white puff to his hat and hems with a snow pen.
(It's hard to see in the pic but in real life it's a fun effect!)

Once the tag was completely dry I die cut HO HO HO from red glitter paper and adhered it down the right side leaving room on the left for Old Saint Nick. He got popped up on foam tape and the only thing left to do was to add ribbon and bakers twine to the top of the tag.

Rabbit Hole products used on this tag:

I just love how this tag turned out and how much fun it was to make!

Aim for the Stars!

Hey there Rabbit Hole fans, thanks for stopping by today!
It's Lisa here from Oh So Cute By Lisa and I have an out of this world card to share with you today using one of the newest stamp sets from The Rabbit Hole Designs. It's called Space - Infinity and Beyond and it has the most adorable little astronaut holding the moon on a balloon string! I just love that image and I decided to go with a rainbow theme for this card. I also used the brand new
Aim For The Stars Stencil on my card for the background and the sentiment.

To begin I stamped my astronaut directly on to my card panel and colored him up with my copic markers.  I decided to color the little strip on his chest in rainbow colors to match the theme of the rest of the card.  The stars at the top of the card and the sentiment were both done with the Aim For The Stars Stencil. I selectively stenciled the sentiment in rainbow colors and added white highlights with my gel pen. I matted the stamped panel on to a piece of rainbow patterned paper and added both panels to my card base.

I don't usually make one layer cards but I really like how this card came out. It's simple but colorful and I love how this stencil can be used in so many ways.

Love You to the Moon and Back!

Welcome to The Rabbit Hole Designs blog!
It's Lisa here with you today and I am featuring a CAS card I made using one of the new stamp sets from the June release.
The theme is all about space and the card above uses a sentiment from the
Infinity and Beyond stamp set.

One of the things I love about this stamp set is the fun font that all of the sentiments are written in so I decided to make that part of the focal point of the card.  I created a galaxy background and then cut a heart shape out of it for the center of my card and then stamped the sentiment running up one side of the heart. I don't often make CAS cards but I really love how this card came out. For a little extra decoration I also added some interest with the Dotted Flower Stencil on the corners of the card and some exclusive Rabbit Hole sequins to match.

Did you notice that adorable little cow in the stamp set? You can create your very own cow jumping over the moon for your project! So many possibilities!

C-Ant Before Coffee

Good morning Rabbit Hole fans, it's Lisa from Oh So Cute By Lisa and today I
have a card to share with you using the recently released Buggy For Caffeine stamp set and the Broken Glass stencil from The Rabbit Hole Designs.
Here's a look at these 2 fun products:

I started by coloring up my little ant with my Copic markers on a small rectangular panel and notching the 4 corners just for a little extra detail.  I inked the edges of the panel to make it stand out against the background.  For the background of the card I used a Distressed Edge Rectangle die and did some ink blending over the Broken Glass stencil with some brown ink. I love the way the brown ink on kraft colored card stock gave the card an underground feeling. After the stenciling was done I stamped the caffeine symbol all over the background for some extra fun.
It's no secret that bugs are not my favorite thing in life but this stamp set really was fun to play with.

Terrier Love

Good morning Rabbit Hole fans, it's Lisa from Oh So Cute By Lisa and today I have a card
to share with you using the recently released Caffeinated Terrier from The Rabbit Hole Designs.  Here's a look at this adorable stamp set:

This little guy really loves his coffee! I thought it would be fun to color him with my Copic markers and sit him up on a doggy bone die cut.  It was the perfect place to stamp my sentiment.
The truth is I can't take any credit for that idea..... my 14 year old son Matthew happened to be walking by when I was making this card and it was his suggestion to use a dog bone shape on the card.  I instantly LOVED the idea and I think it was the PERFECT addition to this coffee loving terrier card! The paw print embossed background went so well with the theme and really pulled the card together!

I found the perfect frame to display this card on and take a picture with:

I hope this coffee loving Terrier puts a little smile on your face today.

Out of Work Dragon

Good morning Rabbit Hole fans, it's Lisa from Oh So Cute By Lisa and
today I have a card to share with you using the recently released Broken Glass stencil from The Rabbit Hole Designs.  I paired the stencil with the previously released
Caffeinated Dragon. Here's a look at these 2 fun products:

I actually made the stenciled background for another card but decided against using it when I changed color schemes.  I don't throw away backgrounds like this in case I want to use them for another card and that's exactly what happened here.  The same goes for my colored images.  I had this dragon all colored and cut for a previous card that I didn't wind up using.  When I went through my colored images I found this guy all colored in yellow and purple and I knew he was meant for this background.  Disclaimer: These are not my go to colors but it sure is fun to color outside the box every now and then! Even though he looks sick in my eyes I feel like he reflects a little bit of what we are all feeling right now.  Luckily I am not out of work right now but my heart absolutely breaks for those who are! The world is upside down and some days my head is too.

I hope this sad/tired/out of work Dragon puts a little smile on your face today.

The Power of Love

Helly everyone, It's Lisa here with you today from Oh So Cute By Lisa with another card using one of the fabulous Old School Tattoo stamps from the April release.
This card features the Old School Tattoo - Affirmation stamp set and the Twisted Sunshine stencil.

I just love the bright color scheme on this card and the black background really makes everything pop off the page. I also love the pretty font that the sentiment is written in!
The focal image of the bird is so whimsical and I love the look of layering on 2 circle die cuts to really focus the attention on the detail and coloring.

Make sure to check out the rest of the April release at The Rabbit Hole Designs and stay tuned at the end of April for the awesome May release being launched!

Hope anchors the soul...

Hi, it's Lisa from Oh So Cute By Lisa and today
I am up on The Rabbit Hole Design's blog with this super cool anchor card.
The Old School Tattoo - Anchor  is my favorite stamp from the April release. I love how these tattoo stamps can be tailored to your needs whether you are making a masculine or feminine card just be changing up the colors.
I loved coloring this anchor up with my Copic markers in a rainbow pattern and then giving it a real grungy feel with a faux metal background. I did some dry embossing with silver foil card stock for a really cool diamond plate effect.  The word HOPE comes from the Old School Tattoo - Affirmation stamp set and I made sure to ink the edges to add to the grunge feel of the card.  I finished off the sentiment with a computer generated strip that reads "anchors the soul". I love using my computer and printer for sentiments because I can tailor almost any card to fit my needs.

I can honestly say I LOVE everything about this card and I don't say that about every card, trust me!
I encourage you to check out the rest of the April release over at The Rabbit Hole Designs, you won't be disappointed! If you like the old school tattoo style than you'll be downright overjoyed!

You feel like home to me...

Hello and welcome to The Rabbit Hole Designs blog! It's Lisa here with you from
That is the name of the stamp set I used to make this card.

I just love the whimsical feel of this image. Everything from the messy hair to the shirt hanging off her shoulder. It just gives you a laid back easy kind of feeling and we all need that right about now! The sentiment is from another Rabbit Hole set called Love You More.  Isn't that just the sweetest sentiment you've ever seen! I think we all have a new appreciation of home right now.... It's our safe space and we are surrounded by our loved ones during this time of social distancing.  I know we have spent a lot more time together just in family meals alone!
The background of my card was made with the
Diamond Flower Stencil and two different color oxide inks.

I am very happy with how this card came out.  It has a nice easy feel with some cool colors and I don't even hate my Copic coloring.

You are Ear-resistable!

Hello everyone, Lisa here from Oh So Cute By Lisa and I'm here on the blog today with
a heart shaped card using the recently released stamp set All Ears.  I started by coloring my bunnies with Copic markers in different shades of brown with a couple of pink bunnies thrown in for fun. I colored the background in a pale blue/green and fussy cut those cute bunnies out.  Next I used the Diamond Flower stencil and a blending brush to make a pale pink pattern that I then cut out with a large heart shape.  I cut out a larger heart shape to mat the stenciled panel on in a light blue/green color.  I added foam tape to the back of the bunnies and popped them up on the stenciled heart.
For a little bit of added interest I added some fun white dots around the larger heart. All that was left was to stamp the sentiment from the All Ears stamp set and my card was done!

Birds of a Feather

Hello, it's Lisa here with you today on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog with a fun card featuring the cute stack of owls from the recently released OWL-Right stamp set!
This crazy bunch of owls make me smile every time I see them! I combined them with the
Circles and Stars stencil in the background for a fun and colorful card.
Here are the supplies I used:

I started with a white card base and I stenciled a solid rectangle shape in Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink.  Then I took the Circles and Stars stencil and layered it over my rectangle and sponged over it in Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. I just love the ways the stars look against the solid rectangle. The cutie patootie owls from the OWL-Right stamp set were colored with Copic markers and some of you might notice The Rabbit Hole signature colors in their wings.
I popped those silly birds up on some foam tape and stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set at the top.  I adhered it all to a purple card base to match the colors and my card was done.
What a fun colorful card to make and those owls are sure to make you smile!

So glad you could join me today!

There's Nobunny Like You

Good morning and welcome to The Rabbit Hole Designs blog! It's Lisa here with a new card featuring the recently released All Ears stamp set. How cute are those bunnies all stacked up? There are so many different ways to color them and they always look so cute! During the hop the design team colored them in pastels, greys, browns, and just fluffy white. For my card today I decided to leave them mostly white with a light grey border around the edges just to accentuate the white.  I of course colored their ears pink and gave them pink cheeks with polka dots.  One of my favorite things to do with critter stamps is to give them pink cheeks with 3 white dots in a triangle with my white gel pen.  I just think it adds a lot of charm to them.

I decided to use a kraft color card base and start with a 4x4 square card.
This was a super easy card to make once the coloring was done.  I used some pretty Spring themed Doodlebug design paper and cut it down using a zig zag border die.  I created a half circle for the bunnies to sit on. For the base of the card I created some texture on the base of the card using a polka dot embossing folder. The bunnies were popped up on foam tape and the sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped onto white paper, trimmed and matted with kraft paper.

Although it's a simple card design I just love how all the colors go together so well!

So glad you could join me today!
