Yay! I Adulted Today!

Hello there my crafty friends! Welcome to today's The Rabbit Hole Design Blog.

Have you ever had one of those days when it is just a win to get out of bed? I am using the new Congrats stamp set along with the Caffeinated Bear stamp set to create this Adulting Bear Congrats card.

The bear has had a sleepless night and grabbed a coffee to start off her day! She is out of bed and on the move, quite an accomplishment.

I colored the bear with colored pencils adding some makeup. The background is stamped using the Congrats word five times, moving the stamp down the 4" x5 1/4" card front and changing the ink to a darker color ink each time it is stamped. It gives the background a verigated look. I hand wrote the "You got out of bed!" sentiment to add to the card front. The bear is added using adhesive foam squares. The card front is mounted on a sorbet colored A2 card front to complete the card.

1st Mother's Day - You got this!

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to todays The Rabbit Hole Designs blog. With Mother's Day around the corner, I thought I would create a card to celebrate a mom's first mothers day. I am using the Tastes Like Honey stencil to create the subtle background. The decided to color the Caffeinated Bear stamp as a panda bear mom.

The bear is stamped in black ink and colored with Copic markers. I used RV10, RV11, and RV13 to color the robe and bunny slippers. I used RV52, RV63 and RV95 to color the robe cuffs and collar. The Mama bear is colored with the warm grays around the eyes, ears, hands and legs to make the bear look like like a panda. The eyes are dotted in yellow greens and the coffee mug in blues. I hand calligraphy the sentiment "Happy 1st Mother's Day" "You got this!"

A Sassy Good Bye 2020

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to today's blog. I'm featuring The Rabbit Hole Designs' Caffeinated Bear and Circle Illusion stencil to create this sassy good-bye 2020 card. This card is snarky and caffeinated.

I used Spectrum Noir TriBlend alcohol markers to transform the bear into a panda bear. I colored the ears and around the eyes with black and grey markers. To perk up the Panda, I colored the robe in bright pink and added yellow polka-dots. The fun bunny slippers and mug are colored an aqua blue.

I used a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" teal cardstock for the card front. I used Pixie Spray to lightly tack the Circle Illusion stencil to the teal card front. I added an oval stencil over the left side of the card front and stenciled Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink over the stencil using a Cotton Tail Blending Brush.

I die cut the words using letter dies in my stash and a glossy black cardstock and glued them on the card front. I created the mask by scoring light blue cardstock every 1/8th inch and added lines. I cut the scored cardstock into a small rectangle, angled the corners, and punched holes in each corner. I threaded twine through the holes to create a small face mask.

I added a die cut black glossy frame to the card front and glued it to a white A2 card base to complete the card.

Bear-ly Conscious

Welcome back to The Rabbit Hole Designs blog!

It's Lisa here with you today and I have a card using the recently released Caffeinated Bear.

One of my favorite things to do with the caffeinated critters is to customize their bathrobes with paper piecing. I just love how the bathrobe came out on this bear in all its floral print glory. And come on, who can resist those adorable bunny slippers!

I decided to put miss BEAR-LY conscious on a large coffee cup.

I used a large die so I could create a scene on it. I used a cloud stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to make some light puffy clouds in the background. Next I created some pretty green grass for the bottom of the cup. I inked the tips of the grassy border with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink for a little bit of contrast.

I stamped the sentiment from the Caffeinated Bear stamp set in brown ink on an angle to give the card a little bit of extra interest and added some brown sequins for fun.

I adhered my coffee cup to a kraft base panel that I ran through a cloud embossing folder.

I love how this card came out and I really enjoyed creating a mini scene for my tired bear!

Bear-ly Conscious Before Caffeine

Hi Rabbit Hole Fans!

It's Kelly on the blog today sharing a card I made using "Caffeinated Bear" from the Rabbit Hole's latest release.

I made the background using alcohol inks, both regular and pearl.

I feel like it is a cup of coffee ready to be stirred!

I stamped, colored and fussy cut Ms. Bear.

She is attached with foam tape.

I added some thin strips of paper to pull the colors of the card together and stamped the sentiment from the set on the kraft piece.

She's getting ready to face the day in her pink bunny slippers
and her matching pink mug.
