Coffee First, Schemes Later

Hey yall!  Happy, happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is off to a great start. Tangii here, with another share from the June Release.  For today's card I used all 3 of the newest Caffeinated Critters, Meerkat, Hippo & Chameleon and the coordinating dies for all 3.

These guys made for a great trio for a slimline, check out their profiles!  I stamped and then die cute each of these guys out.  Once I got them all colored up, I placed them on my background piece and then sliced off the rest of their bodies (lol).  The frame is popped up for a little dimension.

The caffeine formula was stamped in a chat bubble in French Roast ink, and the sentiment from the Perfectly Blended set, was also stamped in French Roast on a separate tag and then popped up.

You can also read about this card on my blog,

Clean and Simple Copic Meerkat

Hello my crafty friend, it's Amanda from Pear Blossom Press, again! Today, I'm sharing a clean and simple card, featuring the new Caffeinated Meerkat. I love this little guy. He's so much fun to color, and he's not too cutsie, so he's perfect for masculine cards too! Especially, when you pair him up with some of the fun sentiments in the Blended Sentiments stamp set

For the Copic chart I used, and coloring tips and tricks, head on over to my blog... pearblossompress.com. I've listed measurements for the card pieces too.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'll be back soon with another fun card to share. Until then, let me know in the comments what your favorite caffeinated critter is. Is there another animal you'd like to see in the series?

Brain Freeze!

Hello crafty friends!  Welcome to The Rabbit Hole Design blog.  Who needs some ice cream?  I do as it has been in the 90s in Illinois over the last week.  I was inspired by the Scooped 3 Layers stencil.  I was trying different way of layering the 3 stencils.
I chose three Distress Oxide inks - Ground Expresso, Salvaged Patina, Kitsch Flamingo - to stencil with.  These colors remind me of Spumoni. I colored the full ice cream cone and then shifted the stencil slightly covering a portion of the first pattern for an overlap.  I used the three colors to stencil the second layer, creating the dancing ice cream cones.  I used this for the card background.
I took the Caffeinated Meerkat stamp set and stamped him on to a piece of coloring cardstock in black ink. I stamped the ice cream cone from the Taste Like Summer stamps set in brown ink.  I drew a tongue on the meerkat and colored him with alcohol markers, I colored the ice cream with alcohol markers.  I fussy cut the ice cream cone and then the meerkat, making sure to cut around the arm holding the coffee cup.  This allows me to fit the ice cream cone behind his arm so it seams he is holding and licking the ice cream.  The sentiment is from the Taste like Summer stamp set and stamped on kraft cardstock.  I also cut an oval from cardstock to place behind the ice cream loving meerkat.

Here are The Rabbit HoleDesigns products used in this card:
