Pawlidays Gift Tag

Hi Rabbit Hole Fans!  
Kelly here sharing another project for our Christmas in July Celebration!
How about a tag for those holiday gifts?


 I started with a premade tag.
I blended blue and green ink on the tag using the new Cotton Tail Brushes.
I then splattered the tag with a bit of water and then 
some White Picket Fence Distress ink refill.

While that was drying, I stamped the "Pawlidays" stamp on Copic paper and colored the mischievous pups with Copic markers. 
I fussy cut the image and adhered it to the tag.
I stamped "to" and "from" from the set in darker blue ink on my tag.
Finally, I added Nuvo drops to the garland, Stickles to the dog's tag and some glitter pen to my ornaments.

 Cute for any gift for the holidays.
Perfect for dog lovers and lovers of cute images!!! 
How cute would this be for a gift from dog to dog!

Happy Pawlidays

We are still celebrating Christmas in July!  
I am sharing a card today that features "Pawlidays"  
and some fun ways to use sequins on a card.

To make this card, I started with an alcohol ink  background.  
I put mojito, ember and dijon on a foam pad with a drizzle of blending solution and dabbed the paper letting them blend together using a blower to move them on the Yupo paper.  
While that dried, I stamped, colored and fussy cut the dog image.

I embossed the sentiment from the set with red embossing powder on vellum and matted it on gold paper.  Next, I decorated the stamped with with LOTS of sequins.  I chose tiny ones for the garland and bigger ones for the ornaments.  I hung tiny candy canes on the dog's antlers and added candy twist embellishments around the sentiment.  I used double-sided tape to adhere the sentiment and foam tape to adhere the dog image.  I matted the top panel on cardstock I inked with green ink. I chose a special sequin for the dog's collar.

Reindog

Hello Rabbit Hole Fans! Alison here with a shaker card that uses the new Pawlidays stamp set. This card is super cute and festive!
I decided to work only with the pup in the reindeer costume, so after I stamped and colored him with Copics, I carefully fussy cut him out.

I made my shaker next, simply by die cutting several oval frames out of red cardstock, stacking them together and adding acetate. I filled it with the new Merry Mint Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground, which was created specifically for a collaboration with The Rabbit Hole Designs. Be on the lookout for that collaboration starting next week!
I backed the window with some old patterned paper that reminded me of the TRHD stencil called Diamond Flower, which is one of my favorites from TRHD. I inked it up with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink and of course one of the new Cotton Tail Blending Brushes. They work incredibly well! You can see the varying depth of color I was able to get on my background. Then I added my sentiment and a few additional Sparkle Blends to the top layer of my card. I popped the Reindog up on the left so that he would be even with the shaker window.

Making this card was fun, and you can easily switch out the focal image to anything you want, as this card is easy to duplicate. You can get more information over on my blog HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
