You're a Lifesaver

Hello there!!! Michelle here.

I'm excited to share today's card with you! Our very adored Niccole, created some amazing

backgrounds using alcohol inks in our favorite color combos!!! She has a true talent for flawless

ink flow!!!! Especially the gold ink...mine always looks like a hot mess!!!

I love the color aqua and I was especially drawn to the new Old School Tattoo -Anchor stamp.

So, pairing them together was a no-brainer.

Plus, I am a Pisces ;)

I gold embossed the anchor with some WOW embossing powder. I colored it up with a few Copic

Markers in shades BG45, BG49, N5; (blues)

RV52, RV55, RV66; (pinks)

E51, E53, E55 (gold hue)

I fussy cut the image, than adhered to the card base. The sentiment is from the stamp set, Beach Day.

The strip of pattern is paper is soooo old...not sure where it's from. For a finishing touch I

scattered some sequins.

Hi Rabbit Hole Fans.

I am sharing a card I made using the new "Anchor Tattoo" Stamp.

I embossed the entire image in silver embossing powder on gray paper.

I also stamped the image on white paper,

colored it and cut out the main anchor image.

I used a craft knife for the detail work.

Then, I layered the colored image over top the embossed one,

exposing the background images from the stamp in the embossed form.

I used a dark gray Copic maker around the edges of the cut

image to hide the white paper on the sides for a cleaner look.

I stamped "Forever" directly on the front in black ink

and added washi tape on the side.

I added red Stickles on the heart.

This image can be used for a variety of card themes.

I plan to send this one as a friendship card.

Hope anchors the soul...

Hi, it's Lisa from Oh So Cute By Lisa and today

I am up on The Rabbit Hole Design's blog with this super cool anchor card.

The Old School Tattoo - Anchor is my favorite stamp from the April release. I love how these tattoo stamps can be tailored to your needs whether you are making a masculine or feminine card just be changing up the colors.

I loved coloring this anchor up with my Copic markers in a rainbow pattern and then giving it a real grungy feel with a faux metal background. I did some dry embossing with silver foil card stock for a really cool diamond plate effect. The word HOPE comes from the Old School Tattoo - Affirmation stamp set and I made sure to ink the edges to add to the grunge feel of the card. I finished off the sentiment with a computer generated strip that reads "anchors the soul". I love using my computer and printer for sentiments because I can tailor almost any card to fit my needs.

I can honestly say I LOVE everything about this card and I don't say that about every card, trust me!
