Good friends & dayrides!


Happy Friday!!!!  Tangii here with an easy and fun card that could be great for a masculine card!  Not everyone has "mad coloring skills" and even if you do, you don't always feel like coloring.  For this card I used a lot of ink blending and a little coloring.

So first off I stamped Desert Background image on my panel, I did tape off the edges to keep them crisp and white.  It kind of adds a border while keeping the card "simple". I grabbed a few Distress Oxide inks and my Bitty Bunny Blending brushes and got to work, I blended the whole image.  Next I grabbed some Copics and colored in the main images (snake, skull, boulder and cacti).  I really just focused on laying on some color here, not alot of coloring technique! lol  Once it was all colored, I stamped the image again, just to make the image pop some... it was kind of muted with all of that Oxide ink on it (using the Misti, of course!).  Finally I added the sentiment and voila!  Easy peasy, pumpkin squeezy!

I like you... and naps! Spring Kitty card with stenciling tutorial

Hello my crafty friends!  Welcome to today's Blog for The Rabbit Hole Designs.  This is a warm and fuzzy card featuring the Spring Kitty stamp set, Garden Trellis stencil, and both Niccole Upper and Lowercase Alpha die sets.  I imagine this sleeping kitty on a warm tile floor basking in a patch of sunshine.

Here is how I created the card:
To create the background, I used Pixie Spray to temporarily hold the Garden Trellis stencil in place on a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" white cardstock.  You see the stencil is positioned on an angle. I started with yellow ink and a Bitty Bunny Blending Brush in the middle of each flower shape.  I used blue ink and a Bitty Bunny Blending Brush to shade the tiles around the yellow flowers and the small circle. After completing the stenciling, I added a few flicks of water to the tile background to distress the image.
The Spring Kitty is colored to look like a Siamese cat with alcohol markers.  I fussy cut the sleeping kitty image. (Spring Kitty is one of the illustrations by Tatsiana Zayats)
To create the sentiment, I am using the Niccole Upper and Lowercase Alpha dies to die cut and spell our "I like you & naps" from blue cardstock.  I positioned the kitty on the lower right corner of the card. I use my Make Art  board with the magnetic ruler to line up and glue down the letters.   The card front is added to a light blue A2 card base.

Happy Birthday to you!

 Hello, my crafty friends! Today I have a quick and easy card using 4 of the newest released products.



When is there a time when you need a quick and easy Birthday card? I loved pairing the 6x6 Overlapping Circles stencil with Scripty Happy and Scripty Birthday word dies. It's such a perfect combo! With this type of stencil, I do spray it with Pixie Spray since it is so intricate. I used 3 of my favorite distress oxide colors to give it a nice blend.


For the  Scripty Happy & the  Scripty Birthday, I die cut them from a holographic cardstock just to give them a little pop then layered them on the shadow dies. The whole collection pairs so well together. You can use them together or separately. I used the Bitty Bunny Blender Brushes to soften the blends. I hope you all have found so much inspiration with this release!

Modern Congrats card with Video Tutorial.

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to The Rabbit Hole Designs blog.  Have you seen all the fabulous projects the Brand Ambassadors posted over the last three days?  OMGeee, what an amazing release and what creativity!  

Today's card features the Mid Century Modern stencil,  Bitty Bunny Blending Brushes and the Congrats die set!   This is one of those cards where the photos do not do it justice. I've included a couple different angles, so you can check out the glitter paper, holographic cardstock and the stenciling up close.  Light definitely plays differently with specialty papers.
I have a YouTube video showing how I created the background design using the Mid Century Modern stencil with the Bitty Bunny Blending Brushes to bring out thd detail. Click on the YouTube image to link to the stenciling tutorial.

I love how this photo brings out the glitter paper with much more detail.
