Wicked! slimline card

Hello my crafty friends! I hope you are having a wickedly great day!  I have been having such fun creating with The Rabbit Hole Designs witches stamps.  They are whimsy, fun and a tad sassy!
I finally got my hands on the Cocktail Witch stamp set and the sentiment stamp set - Things a Witch Might Say.  I paired them up with the Spell It stencil to create this fun layered slimline card.

I am really enjoy using alcohol markers to color with.  They blend beautifully. I try to keep it simple by using a light, medium and dark marker shade of each color family.  For instance the dress is colored in light medium and dark coral colored markers.

Using the Spell It stencil and my green Cotton Tail Blender Brush, I create a word "WICKED" across the top of the slimline card front with Twisted Citron Distress ink.  I stamped the sentiment "wicked never looked so good" (minus the word wicked) just under the right side of the stenciled WICKED.  I used double side foam adhesive to attach the Cocktail Witch to the right side of the card.  I added some bat bling and retro stars to the card front.  The card front is comprised of three layers of cardstock (darkest blue, cobalt blue and a pink printed cardstock) all layered on top of a lime green slimline card base.

Here are the Rabbit Hole Designs Products used

I hope you enjoyed this Wicked Slimline card  featuring the Cocktail Witch and Things a Witch Might Say stamp sets. I love hearing from you. Please leave me a message letting me know what you like most about the August Release from the Rabbit Hole Designs.

Abracadabra!

Hey yall!  Happy Tuesday!!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and have a great week to look forward to.  I have been dying to try a Slimline card, so I dug out Spellcaster Witch and Things a Witch Might Say and got busy!

I'm going to just quickly say that for the inside of the card I used my Cotton Tail Blending brushes and some Distress ink along with a "bat" die.  It's mostly background for the front, plus it's plain enough that I can still write inside.

Now, for the hottie on the front!  I colored her and her potion cauldron with Copics and used the coordinating Spellcaster dies to cut them out. For the pot I added some glitter gel to the potion inside and then some glitter pen to the fire... sparkly fires are the pretties fires! lol

I stamped some bubbles above the pot in some blue ink.  I stamped the sentiment from Things a Witch Might Say on a fun tag die and popped it up.  I added a couple of the bats from the die on the inside piece to my card front.

All of the items I linked in my post are available at The Rabbit Hole Designs.

Cookin' Up a Brew

Hello Everyone! Justin here, and today I am sharing a project I created using the Spellcaster Witch set and the Things a Witch Might Say set, part of the August Halloween Release!

To make this project, I stamped the witch and cauldron from the Spellcaster Witch set, colored them with Copic Markers and fussy cut them out.

For my backgrounds, I cut a 4.25" and 5.25" square piece of white cardstock, and then a 4.5" and 5.5" square piece of black cardstock.

For the 4.25" piece, I used a wreath creator tool to help use the detail stamps and create a circular pattern. I colored all the elements with Copic markers and then masked them all. I ink blended over them using purple die inks and then removed the masks. I adhered this panel to the 4.5" square piece to give it a black frame.

For the 5.25" piece of white cardstock, I created an ombré using red, pink and purple dye inks. I spritzed this layer with water, let it dry, and then placed the Twisted Sunshine stencil over top. Using a black dye ink, I applied a solid layer over the stencil. I removed the stencil and adhered this panel directly to the 5.5" piece of black cardstock to give it a frame.

I then took the smaller square panel and adhered it to the center of the larger square panel.

Using the Things a Witch Might Say, I heat embossed the sentiment "You had the power all along my dear", in white powder on black cardstock, trimmed it to a strip and then framed it with hot pink cardstock.

I now was able to finish up my card. I adhered my witch, cauldron and sentiment using foam tape, and then adhered a few Rabbit Hole Designs sequins to the card for embellishment. I adhered my panel to a 5.5" square card base and my project was finished!

This project uses the following Rabbit Hole Designs products:

Happy Crafting!

Boil Boil, Toil & Trouble Witches Brew!

Hey yall!  Happy hump-day!!  Can you even believe it's August already?!?  How in the heck did that happen?  Tangii here with another creation from the wicked cute August release!  For my card today I grabbed a few of the new sets... Spellcaster Witch, Cocktail Witch and Things a Witch Might Say.

I started off grabbing a few of my fave Halloween washi's (as it turns out my "faves" were all of them! lol).  I adhered them on an angle over some white cs... this fills in the "white" space nicely and gives a fun backdrop for all of my die cut pieces.  Have  I mentioned before how much I LOVE coordinating dies??  This is one of those times when fussy cutting just wouldn't cut it!  I stamped out the potion cauldron, a couple of potion bottles and some "sprigs" from the Spellcaster Witch  stamp set.  Then I colored them in and used the coordinating dies.

There are really so many fantastic accessory stamps that come with all of the witch sets this month!  The sentiments I used come from the Spellcaster Witch Cocktail Witch and Things a Witch Might Say sets.  I edged the sentiment pieces with a green marker and then stamped some of the bubbles from the Spellcaster Witch set.  When I say "white space & I are not very good friends", I'm not kidding. lol!

I attached the potion bottles to the sentiment pieces and then "hung" some sprigs from them as well.  All of the die cut pieces are popped up from the base.

All of the items I linked in my post are available at The Rabbit Hole Designs.
