Caffeinated Valentine Tags

Happy Valentine's Day!
Michelle here, I created some caffeinated gift tags for mini Valentine's Day gifts. The whole
Caffeinated line is perfect for gift tags!
Having the coordinating dies makes it a lot easier! I used Caffeinated Owl Stamp and Die, and
I stamped the owl and flamingo, than die cut the images. I colored the caffeine cuties
with Copic Markers. I die cut each image twice per tag. One colored, one blank.
After I colored the front of the tag I adhered the black die to the back.
I stamped the back of the tags with sentiments from the set, Perfectly Blended.
I filled each treat bag with some Starbucks Via packets and Hershey Kisses...perfect combo!

Hope you give this a try!
Hope you enjoy today!

Michelle

Whoooo Needs Coffee???

Hello & welcome!!

I have always loved Owls, and the Caffeinated Owl is one of my favorite critters! I started my card by masking off a 2-ish inch section on my card base and ink blended some distress oxides in a nice fall palette. I watercolored the owl using my Zig markers. Isn't he cute and under-caffeinated?? There is a coordinating die that can be used to cut him out, but I used my scan n' cut. Then the card was easily finished by mounting the owl with some foam tape and it was done!!

My little owl was so easy to make. I used a Tonic Studio stencil and black Gina K Glitz gel for the front of the A2 landscape card. I die cut an oval with my Gemini Jr machine after the gel had dried. (I left it overnight, so I am not sure how long it takes to dry.) Colored the owl and background with Copics on a separate piece of Neenah 110 lbs and centered it with the oval in front. I used the Circle and Stars Stencil for the stars in the bakground. I then stamped and cut the sentiment on a matching yellow card stock and adhered to the front.

Come back tomorrow to see what crazy Jammie is up to!!! We love our new design team member!! And leave some love in the comments! We love hearing from all of you! Also, use that discount code while the hop "hops" until the 8th of November!

Coffee kisses,
Charmaine

Hoo Need Caffeine? By Niccole

Hello everyone!

It's Niccole from Nic & Viv Designs back again to share another card I made using one of The Rabbit Hole Designs stamp sets.

For today's card I used the Caffeinated Owl stamp set and the Candy Twist stencil.

How to create this card:

  • White A2 card base
  • Left over Blue Flock card panel cut to 1.75"x5.5" that used the Candy Twist Stencil
  • Glue the negative blue panel to the card base
  • Add a thin strip of glitter paper to top and bottom of blue panel
  • Stamp sentiment abover glitter strip on the right side of the card
  • Copic color and cut out Caffeinated Owl image
  • Attach image to center left card front with foam tape
  • Attach diamond gems around card
  • Add Judikins Diamond Glaze to the coffee cup for glass effect and dimension
Here is one more picture of the full card ...

Who remembers the card I made for the collaboration with Therm O Web? Well this card today actually uses the negative of the flock I used for that card.  Wanna see them together?
What do you think? The black card is the card that used the transfer gel and flock.  My card today uses the left over that was pulled off of the black piece of card one ... which one do you like better?

Hoo's there?

Hello everyone! It's Amanda W taking over today. Thanks for stopping by to check out this super fun light up Caffeinated Owl card. This was my first attempt at a light up card and with the help of my friend Amanda at Pear Blossom Press, it was super easy and I'm excited to try it again.

Here's how I did it:
  • Die cut a circle from a white panel and set the circle aside.
  • Ink blended the main panel like a night sky, splattered with water and gold watercolor. Then layered vellum behind the opening.
  • Next ink blended the circle yellow for a moon...or sun, whichever you prefer. This was glued directly to my card front.
  • Stamped, colored and cut my owl and die cut a branch for him to sit on. Using my images  as a guide I also stamped and heat embossed "push here" where the button would be hiding.
  • At this point I laid out and glued my light and circuitry down. Check out Pear Blossom Press for info on that.
  •  After that was glued down I popped my sky panel up with double-layer foam tape and glued my branch and owl directly to it.
  • I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment, cutting it into a strip and popping it up with foam squares.

Here's a look at it all lit up! It's so fun!!! My whole family keeps playing with it. I think this owl might be my favorite in the caffeinated critter collection. Thank you so much for joining me today. I'll chat with you again soon.

Here are the products I used:

#wideawake

Hello Rabbit Hole fans! It's Lisa here on the blog today with a really tired Owl!
He definitely looks like how I feel today! It was a busy weekend but a fun weekend
so I don't mine a little sleep deprivation!  I had a fun crafty weekend and spent
time with my daughter's for a girls weekend away.

I thought it would be cute to put the Caffeinated Owl
on to his very own coffee mug.

I really like how he looks and the sentiment #wideawake cracks me up!
I used the caffeine molecule for the background of the mug.

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!

TRHD & Therm-O-Web Collaboration #2

Happy Friday everyone!

Niccole here; I am back with another collaboration post for The Rabbit Hole Designs and Therm-O-Web. This is my second blog post so if you missed the first one you can catch it ... HERE.

You can enter win $25 in Therm-O-Web product. Head on over to their website to find out how.

I am using another one of my favorite stamps from The Rabbit Hole Designs, which is Caffeinated Owl and the Candy Twist stencil. Both are available at Simon Says Stamp and at The Rabbit Hole Designs stores.

This is the Therm O Web Transfer Gel I used for my card along with the Deco Foil Blue Diamond Flock. This flock is so fun to use. It reminds me of those old black fuzzy posters you could color ... remember??

Now onto my card ...
Here is how I made this card:

1. Turn laminator on to really heat it up good
2. Cut and fold a black A2 card base
3.On another black card panel I used my stencil to apply
the Transfer Gel
4. I let the Transfer Gel dry. It's dry when it turns clear
5. Place flock fuzzy side DOWN (very important)
6. Put card with flock on it in carrier sheet
(I use a piece of copy paper folded in half)
7. Run through laminator
8. Peel flock away from card to reveal your FUZZY masterpiece
9. Cut oval to center front of flocked card panel
10. Save cut oval for another fun flocked project
11. Stamp, color, and cut out TRHD Caffeinated Owl image
12. Attach Caffeinated Owl with foam tape
13. Add clear gems around card

*** Make sure not to throw away the negative piece from your flock. You can definitely reuse it . I will be sharing a card really soon using the negative pieces from my foil and my flock.***
Doesn't this Blue Diamond Deco Foil Flock just make you happy? Like I said earlier ... its like one of those fuzzy posters we'd get as a kid and color.

Here is one more look at the full card. I just want to say ... If you have never played with flock; you really should try it. It is so much fun and there are so many possibilities when using Therm-O-Web products.
