Bloom Where You Are Planted

Hello there!
Michelle here, sharing a combination of two of the newest Botanical Stamp sets, Turtle Botanical and Flamingo Botanical. I chose to stamp the flowers with a no line coloring technique. I stamped the flowers using tea dye distress ink and colored with Copic Markers.
For the center flower: R35, R46, R56, and RV99
light orange rose: E93, E95, E97, and E99
yellow rose: Y11, Y13, Y15, Y35, and YR14
For the rose centers: E81, E84, E87, and E89

I stenciled the word 'bloom' using Spell It Stencil and distress oxide inks, barn door and black soot.
For the base cardstock I used our very own Jammie's shimmer cardstock.  I added a strip of glitter cardstock to the base of the panel and layered the flowers. I embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder and added some shimmer with stickles gold glitter glue.

Love Forever

Hello there! Michelle here. I love the newest stencil, Broken Glass! It's one of the most versatile
stencils out there! I paired it up with Old School Tattoo- Anchor and love the way it turned out.

I inked up the stencil with victorian velvet and dried marigold distress oxide inks. I spritzed the stenciled background with water, than splattered some gold and black paint. Allow to dry.
I trimmed the panel to 4 x 5 1/4inches.  Next, I trimmed a piece of vellum to 2 1/4 inches and kept it long enough to fold over the stenciled panel. I embossed the sentiments with black embossing powder. The 'love' sentiment is from the stamp set Put a Bow on It.
Adhere the vellum strip to the stenciled panel, than adhere to a piece of glitter paper that measures the same as the card base, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

I stamped the anchor with black ink than colored up with Copic Markers. I used shades:
W1, W3, W5, W7; RV32, RV34; YR00, YR61, YR02. I fussy cut the anchor. I laid down a piece of gold thread, than adhered the anchor on top.
For a finishing touch I added some stickles glitter glue and sequins.

The Power of You

Hello there!
Michelle here. Stopping by to share a slimline card I created using one of the newest stamp sets
from the Old School Tattoo line, Horseshoe.
Image may contain: possible text that says 'lucky charm You are my LUCK'
I stamped the image with antique linen distress ink than used Copic Markers to color.
I used colors: horseshoe: C2, C3, C5, W7
flower: RV55, RV66, RV69, RV99; Y26, Y28
banner: YR21, YR23, YR24
I fussy cut the shoehorse and set aside.

I trimmed the background white panel to 3 1/4 x 8 1/4. I used two stencils, Spell It Stencil and
Tattoo Icons Stencil. First I used the Spell It Stencil to spell the word 'luck'. I used the horseshoe to replace the letter 'u'. I chose distress oxide inks in shades antique linen, fossilized amber, and vintage photo. Next, I used the Tattoo Icons Stencil and only inked up the mini horseshoe part of the stencil. I used spun sugar and picked raspberry inks, than added some shading with RV34 and N3 Copic Markers. I added some paint splatters with white and gold paint.

Caffeinated Valentine Tags

Happy Valentine's Day!
Michelle here, I created some caffeinated gift tags for mini Valentine's Day gifts. The whole
Caffeinated line is perfect for gift tags!
Having the coordinating dies makes it a lot easier! I used Caffeinated Owl Stamp and Die, and
I stamped the owl and flamingo, than die cut the images. I colored the caffeine cuties
with Copic Markers. I die cut each image twice per tag. One colored, one blank.
After I colored the front of the tag I adhered the black die to the back.
I stamped the back of the tags with sentiments from the set, Perfectly Blended.
I filled each treat bag with some Starbucks Via packets and Hershey Kisses...perfect combo!

Hope you give this a try!
Hope you enjoy today!

Love, under the sea

Hello there! Michelle here
With Valentine's Day approaching, love is in the air....and the sea!
I combined a few stamp sets and some masking to create this no line coloring card.
I love this cutie from Mermaid Hair and used her as my focus.
I used the big heart from Sassy Sentiments- Anti Valentine.
After my coloring was complete, I used stars and part of a sentiment from
Love You More- Christmas Frost. The 'love' sentiment is from Put a Bow on It.

I began with a mask for both the mermaid and heart...
A. Mask the place where you want to stamp your mermaid, than stamp your heart.
B. Remove the mask and cut along the heart outline on the mermaid body...this is
your second mask.

C. Place the second mask in it's original position and D. Stamp your mermaid.
Using a Misti makes this a lot easier.

E. Remove the last mask and stamp the heart again. My placement was not
so perfect, but using antique linen distress ink for no line coloring allows
you to color over your mistakes!!
F. Start coloring...and have fun!!!
Here is a list of Copic colors:
fin, bubbles and bikini: BG11, BG13, BG18
body: E000, E00, E11, E93
hair: V000, V01, V12, V17, V17
heart: R24, R27, R29, R39
water: B32, B93, B24, B37
sand: E11, E13, E17
colorless blender for rays.
I stamped the stars with white ink and 'love' with festive berries distress oxide ink.
I added some white accents with a gel pen and shimmer with
stickles glitter glue.

That's it for today!
Thanks for taking a trip down the rabbit hole!!!
