Sail & Soar Coordinating Die Set: Sail & Soar Dies – The Rabbit Hole Designs

Plane Awesome!

Hello again! Lauren here today sharing this cute card that features my favorite stamp set, Sail & Soar illustrated by the talented Tatsiana Zayats. This is such a playful set that's full of possible adventures for these sweet bunnies!

I started out by creating my cloud filled background. I prepared an A2 sized (4.25X5.5) blue cardstock panel for heat embossing. To do this, I used the excellent Cottontail Embossing Powder tool. I then stamped clouds randomly over my panel using the included cloud stamp with an embossing ink pad. I then covered the clouds with white embossing powder, tapped off the excess and heat embossed them.

After heat embossing, I colored in the clouds using a white colored pencil. Then I die cut the panel using a scalloped, stitched rectangle die from my stash. I then adhered the panel onto a white A2 sized card base.

Next, I stamped my cute airplane bunny image onto white cardstock in black ink. I used colored pencils for this cute image as well. Once he was all colored up, I used the coordinating die that is available, to die cut him out and also 4 extra blank shapes from blue cardstock. I adhered them all together in a stack with the colored one on top and adhered the stack onto my card.

I prepared a piece of blue cardstock with the Cottontail Embossing Tool to create my sentiment. Then I stamped the sentiment onto blue cardstock using embossing ink, covered it in white embossing powder, tapped off the excess and heat embossed it. I then die cut it out using a banner die from my stash and then also 3 extra blank banners. I adhered them all in a stack with the sentiment on top, then adhered it onto my card, below the plane.

I think this is a super cute card that would bring a smile to many an adventurer's face! Thanks so much for visiting.

Sail & Soar Coordinating Die Set: Sail & Soar Dies – The Rabbit Hole Designs

Hello Friend

Happy Friday!!!!  Hope you have some fun plans for your weekend, maybe a little creative therapy?  For my fun little tag, I inked up the NEW Sail & Soar set and paired it up with a piece from the Getting Inky paper pack.
I paper pieced his little boat and colored the rest with Copics.  The sentiment is from the NEW Hello Friend set and I finished it off with a few sprinkles of the free Sequin pack that comes with your orders.

Good Friends and Great Adventures!

Hello! It's Lauren here on the blog today sharing a fun scene using the adorable new Sail & Soar stamp set illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats. This set is perfect for creating so many adorable and whimsical cards.

To start my card, I first stamped the cute bunny images onto white cardstock in black ink. Then, I colored them using colored pencils and die cut them using the coordinating dies for the set.

Once my images were ready, I created the background for them. I used the Clouds in my Coffee Stencil with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to create soft clouds along the top long edge of an 8.5x3.5" slimline cardstock panel.

For the water I created a straight line across the bottom of my panel with washi tape, leaving approximately 0.5" below the tape. In that open area at the bottom of the panel, I ink blended Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink. Then I spritzed it with a little water, and carefully removed the tape. Tip: if the tape is sticking too much, you can warm it up using your embossing heat gun and it will come off the paper more easily.

Next, I adhered the bunny boat and bunny plane onto the panel. Then, I stamped the sentiment in between the two.

The last step was to adhere the panel onto a white slimline card base. I love how this sweet scene turned out and I hope it has inspired you to create a cute scene using this new set! Thanks for visiting!

You're Just Plane Awesome!

Happy Sunday!!!!  Hope you're having a wonderful weekend, Tangii here sharing a card using the Sail & Soar set from  the NEW March release.  While the card itself is simple in design, I had some fun creating it! I stamped my scene and colored the bunny & clouds with Copics.

When it came to coloring up the airplane I decided to do a little experimenting.  I colored in the darker areas with a copic marker and left the rest white.  Then I went over the white areas of the plane with an brush embossing pen and then added some Embossing Glaze... WOWZA!  Did it ever have a fun effect!  The plane has this great watercolor/glazed look to it!  Such a fun and easy way to add a little dimension to a simple card.
