Mother's Day Shaker Card - Video Using the New A2 Shaker Accetate Sheets

Hello my crafty friends!  Mother's Day is a month away and I created this fun A2 shaker card for my mom! The image is from the Meaningful Meerkat stamp set.

If you head over to The Rabbit Hole Designs Facebook Fan Page, you will find my FB Live showing you how to create this Mothers day card. The background of clouds and ground uses the Torn Paper stencil. I added one of the A2 Shaker Acetate Sheet and shaker bits creating the card front.
I stamped and colored the Meaningful Meerkat with OLO Markers. The sentiment is die cut with the Love and the You Scripty Word and Shadow Layer dies.  Mom is die cut using the Niccole Lowercase Alphabet dies. The sentiment is added to the A2 shaker front with adhesive foam squares and the Meerkat is glue directly to the shaker front.  The finished card front is added to a white A2 card base completing the card.

1st Mother's Day - You got this!

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to todays The Rabbit Hole Designs blog. With Mother's Day around the corner, I thought I would create a card to celebrate a mom's first mothers day.  I am using the Tastes Like Honey stencil to create the subtle background.  The decided to color the Caffeinated Bear stamp as a panda bear mom.

The bear is stamped in black ink and colored with Copic markers.  I used  RV10, RV11, and RV13 to color the robe and bunny slippers. I used RV52, RV63 and RV95 to color the robe cuffs and collar.  The Mama bear is colored with the warm grays around the eyes, ears, hands and legs to make the bear look like like a panda.  The eyes are dotted in yellow greens and the coffee mug in blues.  I hand calligraphy the sentiment "Happy 1st Mother's Day"  "You got this!"

Here are The Rabbit HoleDesign products used in this card:

Happy Mother's Day Mom

Hello The Rabbit Hole Designs fans!  Maria here on the blog with you.  It's Mother's Day and I hope everyone's celebrating this day with their loved ones.  For today's card, I am showcasing the We Are Family stamp set.

Here's how I made the card:
  • stamp the images on some Neenah classic crest solar white card stock and color it in with alcohol markers (or any medium of your choice).
  • I used a small stamp set from my stash to create the grassy hill, inking it up using my make-up brushes and some Lawn Fawn Celery ink.
  • I also stamped the clouds with Memento Desert Sand ink and colored them with alcohol markers.
  • I used a small "Mom" die to die-cut the background.  I also die-cut a few more and layered them together to make the word "Mom" stand out on the card.

Here's a little close-up:

I have been really loving just coloring images on my cards lately!  If you are looking for further details about my project including supplies used, I would be so grateful if you can stop by my blog today at:
