I Will Sit With You in the Dark


Happy, Sunday!!!!  Tangii here, and I'm inking up some more Wonderland fun!  For my card today I used the, Wonderland 3 set & dies and Heard it in Wonderland sentiment set. Before stamping my background, I went over my black cs base with the Cottontail Embossing Tool, then stamped the Mad Hatter & the Dodo on it with embossing ink.  Because I used the MISTI, I was able to stamp a couple of times with the embossing ink to be sure I had really great coverage.  I poured some White embossing powder over both images and heat embossed. Next I die cut the heart from the middle, then set the black cs aside.

My card base is red (the folding part), but I wanted the sentiment embossed in red, so I added a little white cs to show through the heart.  I stamped the sentiment with Embossing ink, some red glitter ep and then heat set.  I adhered the white sentiment piece in place on the red base, then centered my black postage stamp cs piece over it, the black is popped up with foam tape.  Before adding the final elements I splattered some white "paint" on top. Finally I added some iridescent baubles and some red glitter die cut x's o's and "hearts".

All Mad in Wonderland - The Rabbit Hole Designs August Release

 

Hello there crafty friends. I am so glad you were able to stop by for  today's The Rabbit Hole Designs blog!  This week has been just plain bonkers,  but thank goodness it's Friday!

This crazy cat with a big broad grin is the inspiration for this mixed media card.  I am using the Wonderland 2 and Wonderland 3 stamp and coordinating die sets along with the Heard in Wonderland sentiment stamp set and the Rhombus/Diamond Hot Foil Coverplate.
I colored the images with colored pencil and die cut them out. The background for this card includes two stencils from my stash. They create an optical illusion, almost like a multiverse opening up to a new dimension. I brought in some numbers to represent a clock and the passing of time.
I foiled book pages with the Rhombus/Diamond Hot Foil Coverplate and red foil.  The edges are curled up and the piece is glued to the card. I attached the cat, caterpillar, and numbers using double sided adhesive foam tape.  I added some clay playing card pieces to and embellishments without the blink.

We're All Mad Here


Happy, happy Friday yall!!!!  Tangii here, and I'm inking up some more Wonderland fun!  For my card today I used the Tea Party Background, Wonderland 3 set & dies and Heard it in Wonderland sentiment set. Before stamping my background, I went over dark gray cs base with the Cottontail Embossing Tool, then stamped the Tea Party bg on it with embossing ink.  Because I used the MISTI, I was able to stamp a couple of times with the embossing ink to be sure I had really great coverage.  I poured some Crystal Clear embossing powder over the whole piece and heat embossed... just look how crisp that image is!


Next up, I used a circle die to die cut the middle.  I stamped my sentiment inside the circle several times in purple ink.  Finally I popped up the gray panel with foam tape and then colored up my Chesire Cat with copics and attached him with foam tape as well!
