It will be Walright - textured interactive card

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to The Rabbit Hole Designs Blog.  Today I created this fun and textured card using the Lazy Summer stamp set and the Candy Twist Die.
The yellow background uses a fine dotted sun pattern. The blue water is embossed with waves. The beach was created with a fine corrugated kraft paper. The three textured pages are glued together creating an A2 size beach background for the card.

I colored the walrus with alcohol markers. I used the Lazy Summer dies to die cut the walrus.  I cut the top of the umbrella off just leaving the long handle.  I created an interactive spinner with one of the candies from the Candy Twist dies and attached it to the yellow background.  I lined up the walrus's umbrella handle just under the Candy Twist spinner and glued the walrus to the card front.  I stamped the sentiment in another piece of yellow cardstock and attached  it across the top with foam squares. The card front is added to a yellow card base completing the card.

Here are The Rabbit HoleDesigns products used in this card:

Traditional Christmas Card with Hoppy Holidays

Hello crafters!  Joy, here with a traditional Christmas card design for more Christmas in July celebrations!  I personally love starting my cards in July because it gives me a head start for the holidays.  I'm curious have you enjoyed the Christmas in July inspiration this year?  I chose a simple design featuring the holly from the Hoppy Holidays stamp set... let's take a look...

This is a classic Christmas design and would be an easy card to mass produce for your holiday cards.  I stamped the holly from Hoppy Holidays with Memento ink because I chose to color it with Copics.  Once I trimmed down my panel I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set with clear embossing powder.   Using an multiliner pen I drew in the fun frame to add more interest.

I added the stamped panel to an embossed panel from my stash.  You can use any folder you have to add texture to your projects.  Because I like dimension, I also popped up my front panel with foam tape. I think this wraps up my project for the day.  I do hope you will give it a try!

Glitzy Hoppy Holidays

Hello, my crafty friends! Today I put this 1 layer watercolor card using the NEW Hoppy Holidays 4x6 Stamp Set together for you! Don't forget to check out my process video HERE

I love seeing this bunny popping out of the envelope! I pulled out my Karin Markers and some Arches Cold Press watercolor paper. I did heat emboss my image with clear embossing powder to give me wells to stay in. This card was so quick to create and would be easy to mass produce for Christmas!

I did add my own little embellishments just to give it that little bit of pop. You can also check out how I put this card together on our YouTube channel HERE

Joyful Greetings- In July!

Hello! July is a great time to get those Christmas cards started, and the newly released Tatsiana Zayats Hoppy Holidays stamp set will inspire you to do so!

Although the bunny is the CUTEST, I wanted to create a card that showed some versatility with the set.

This is a mini slimline card. I created the background paper by stamping a border along the left side and along the bottom of the paper with the holly stamp.  I then stamped/cut out masks for them using masking paper.  I used the Back Alley stencil in a grey ink color.  I removed the masks and colored in the holly with alcohol inks, shimmer pen, and some dimensional glaze on the berries.  On a piece of white card stock, I stamped the large envelope of goodies, colored the tree, star, and bird and then fussy cut them out; I attached them to the lower left corner with dimensional foam.  I stamped Joyful greetings to the side of the bird in black.  I always feel like Christmas cards need a little sparkle, so I added some bling to the tree and some pretty gold confetti to the rest of the card.

Six months to Christmas!

Cheers,

Vanessa
