Fearless!

Hey yall!  Tangii here, happy Wednesday & happy October!!  Where on earth has this year gone??  I can't believe it's October already!  This is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so while I remind you to please GET THEM SQUISHED! I'll also share a pink and pretty card using the new Back Alley stencil and the Fearless stamp set.

This was a quick and simple card.  First off I taped down a heart cut out "mask" and set it in place.  Once that was done I set my Back Alley stencil in place and blended in some Distress Ink with a Cotton Tail Blending Brush.

With the background done, I removed the stencil and mask.  I stamped the "Fearless" in a gray ink and the rest of the sentiment just below it.  The Ribbon was stamped in embossing ink and some pink glitter.  Finally I added a small smattering of various sequins.  This stencil was the perfect way to give me a great background that allowed my image and sentiments to still be the focus!

All of the items I linked in my post are available at The Rabbit Hole Designs.

You can also read about this card on my blog, here with links to the products I used, etc.  Thanks for popping by, come back again soon!

More Than Pink - a card for Breast Cancer Awareness

Hello my crafty friends!  Welcome to today's blog. October is Breast Cancer Awareness and I am using the Splish Splash stencil to add pink to the background behind the Fearless stamp set.

I stamped out the awareness ribbon  and the "More than pink" sentiment with Honeysuckle ink on a light grey cardstock. I fussy cut both out. I created a mask using a piece of paper with a circle die cut out of the middle. I used low tack purpled tape to secured it to a 4" x 5 1/4" Sea Glass cardstock. I added the Splish Splash stencil over the top of the circle opening.  I used Cracking Campfire, Picked Raspberry, an Spun Sugar Distress Oxide inks to  blend and create the design.  I rounded the corners and attached it to a piece of 4 1/8' x 5 3/8" light pink cardstock with rounded corners.  I attached this to an A2 Honeysuckle card base.  To complete the card I glued the awareness ribbon, seniment and sequins to the front of the card.

Here are The Rabbit Hole Design products used in this card:

I did get my hands on this fabulous package of pink goodness and I have a couple
of cards to share with you today!

For my first card I decided to make a shaker card using the pretty pink sequins in the
bundle.  I stamped one of the beautiful ribbon images in soft pink and put it behind
my shaker window then added some pretty pink sequins from the bundle and some silver
ones from my stash. Shaker cards are one of my very favorite types of card to make.

I love how elegant that ribbon looks inside the lacy frame!
I finished off the card with a sentiment from the set embossed in silver.

For my second card I decided that our little friend the Caffeinated Bee
would look really cute all colored up in pink!
She is definitely Fearless with her little cup of caffeine!

I also used the Circles and Stars stencil for the background of my card.
I just love how the word Fearless looks stamped in black over the ribbon.
That little Bee always cracks me up!

As always thanks so much for stopping by the blog and if you want your
very own Fearless Bundle than head over to the shop because it won't be there forever!
