Holiday Tags!

 Hello there and Happy Holidays!

It's Kelly here on the blog today sharing some holiday tags.

Pull out your Rabbit Hole favorites and spread some holiday joy!

This is a picture heavy post. I had SO MUCH FUN making these tags!

My tags feature several Rabbit Hole Designs Products:
  • Candy twist stencil
  • Caffeinated Reindeer stamp and die
  • Love You More stamp set
  • Kringle stamp and die

To make my tags, I stamped, colored and die cut or fussy cut my images.

I applied Glitz gel with the Candy Twist stencil on store-bought tags.

Stencils work GREAT on tags and are so much fun.

I assembled my tags after the glitz dried. I used double-sided sticky tape to adhere the elements to the glitter. Nuvo gloss, glitter and foam make these tags extra special.

Merry Christmas Kringle Style!

Hi everyone! Von Marie here and Today I have a Christmas Slimline card to share with you using the Newest Release.

I chose to use the New Back Alley Stencil with Red Foil over Red Cardstock. I love this stencil, it's perfect for you to use anytime. I also adore this Santa from the Kringle Stamp Set which was perfect for my card. I first stamped my Santa onto Sweet Sentiment cardstock and colored it in with my Copic Markers. I did use a white Prismacolor pencil for Santa's bead and white areas on his suit. I then cut it out with the Coordinating Kringle Die Set.

I stamped the banner from the Kringle Stamp Set and the sentiment and then cut it out with the coordinating die. I then cut my foiled stenciled piece out with a Slimline Die as well as pattern paper to match. I added my Santa and sentiment banner with foam tape and my slimline panel onto a slimline card base. Lastly, I added matching sequins. I hope you like my card. Thank you for stopping by!

Jingle Wishes

Hi everyone! Von Marie here and I am so happy to be on the blog today. I have another Christmas card to share using products from the July Release.

I made a Slimline card so that I could stencil my trees in rainbow colors. I first stamped my santa from the Kringle Stamp Set on Bristol Smooth cardstock. I colored him in with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers using water and a paintbrush. I then fussy cut him out. I did use a white colored pencil to color the Nooks and crannies of his beard.

I used some white cardstock and I used the Slice of Christmas Stencil with Rainbow Distress Oxide colors and my Cotton Tail Blending Brushes. I sprayed some water and dried the excess with a microfiber towel. I then cut out my panel with a stitched slimline die and used black cardstock for the layering piece. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set onto my panel. I glued my panel onto a white card base. I then added some coarse irridescent glitter on my trees. I hope you like my card. Thank you for stopping by!

Northern Lights Christmas Card

Hello Everyone! Justin here and today I am sharing a simple Christmas Card I made using the new Kringle set!

I wanted to create a project inspired by tree silhouettes and the Northern Lights, and I thought this was the perfect excuse to break out my Alcohol Inks!

To make my Northern Lights background, I took a 4.125" x 5.375" piece of plastic craft paper and totally slathered it with alcohol blending solution. I used gray, dark purple, dark blue, aqua, and lime green alcohol inks to drop onto the piece. I then used my air puff tool to push the ink around to get the design I wanted. I set the panel aside to dry entirely (I usually like to give this a good hour).

I took the small tree stamps from Kringle and heat embossed them with black powder onto black cardstock. I fussy cut them out and set them aside.

Next I took 4.25" wide piece of black cardstock and die cut a stitched hill piece. I heat embossed the sentiment "Merry Christmas" in white powder and set it aside.

I took my dry alcohol inked panel and adhered it to an A2-sized piece of black cardstock so it had a nice frame.

I then adhered my trees to my stitched hill, and adhered the entire piece using foam tape to the bottom of my card panel.

Using some purple sequins from a Rabbit Hole Designs Embellishment Pack (one of the amazing freebies you get with your order), I adhered a few to my card, and adhered the panel to an A2-sized card base!

And that's how I made my project!

This card uses the following Rabbit Hole Designs Product:

Santa Tag

Hi, it's Lisa here from Oh So Cute By Lisa and today I have a Christmas tag that I created using the new stamp set released by The Rabbit Hole Designs called Kringle. I started off by die cutting the largest tag from a stitched scalloped tag die in white card stock.
For the background of the tag I used the Candy Twist Stencil and some Nuvo Glacier Paste in Golden Era. While the Nuvo paste was drying it was time to prepare Mr. Kringle for the tag.
I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored him in with my Copic Markers.
My Scan n Cut did a great job of cutting him out and for some extra added fun I added some fun white puff to his hat and hems with a snow pen.
(It's hard to see in the pic but in real life it's a fun effect!)

Once the tag was completely dry I die cut HO HO HO from red glitter paper and adhered it down the right side leaving room on the left for Old Saint Nick. He got popped up on foam tape and the only thing left to do was to add ribbon and bakers twine to the top of the tag.

Rabbit Hole products used on this tag:

I just love how this tag turned out and how much fun it was to make!

Jingle Wishes Shaker Card

Hello Everyone! Justin here, and today I am sharing this fun shaker card that I made using the new Kringle set, and a couple elements from the Slice of Christmas stencil!

First, I colored up my Santa from Kringle with Copic Markers, fussy cut him out and set him to the side.

Using my Slice of Christmas Stencil, I blended one of the trees onto white cardstock using a Cotton Tail Blending Brush, using a green blend of Oxide Inks for the body of the tree, and a brown ink for the stem. I fussy cut my tree out and set it aside with my Santa.

I took a square piece of white cardstock and ink blended a light blue green to navy ombre blend using Oxide Inks and a  Cotton Tail Blending Brush. I spritzed this piece with water and set it aside for later.

Taking an A2-sized piece of white cardstock, I used the "snowbank" from the Slice of Christmas stencil and blended up a horizontal wonky stripe pattern using a red Oxide Ink with a  Cotton Tail Blending Brush. I took a square die cut, and cut a window in the upper center of my image.

Next, I took an A2-sized piece of kraft cardstock. I used 2 square dies to cut out a frame that would fit perfectly over my square cut out from my red striped panel. I distressed the edges with a brown Oxide Ink, and adhered my frame directly over my window. Then, I cut a .75" strip from the bottom of my kraft cardstock, and blended a darker brown ink over the Circle Illusion stencil, creating a wood effect that I like to use with a  Cotton Tail Blending Brush. I adhered this strip to the bottom of my stripe panel to act as the flooring.

Taking the banner stamp from Kringle, I stamped the banner, and then stamped the buildable sentiment "Jingle Wishes" inside the banner in an alcohol marker safe ink. I heat set the ink, and then colored over the banner in red Copic Markers.

I took my fussy cut Christmas Tree and adhered some sequins to it from a shaker pack. I alsåo cut out a small tree skirt from my scrap patterned paper stash, adhered it to the bottom of my tree, and adhered my tree to the lower right portion of my panel. I also took my sentiment banner, tucked it behind the tree, and adhered it down.

I flipped my panel over, and adhered acetate to cover my window. I then took my Kringle Santa and adhered him so that he looked like he was peeping into the window to say hello. I also adhered a very small piece of his hat directly to the visible acetate, just to help keep him flush against the shaker window.

Using doubled up foam tape, I made a border around the outside of my shaker window on the backside. I removed the backing, and then went over the edges of the tape (not the tape backing portion) with an anti-static powder tool. I took my blue-green-to-navy ombré piece and poured a shaker pack on top of it (very carefully, so that none of the sequins went astray). I took my mail card panel, carefully placed my card over the ombré piece, and pressed down to fully adhere it. I gave my card a shake to make sure none of my shaker bits flew out, and I got the all clear to finish this card up!

I used doubled up foam tape to cover some remaining back portions of the panel, removed the backing, and adhered it to an A2-sized card base. I also wanted to add a little extra glitz, so I took a couple more sequins from the pack and adhered them onto my card as well.

And that's how I made my project!

Here are the products I used:

Christmas Tree Wreath

Hello there! Michelle here, hoping you all enjoyed the new July Release! I immediately fell in love with the stamp set, Kringle . I especially love the two different size whimsical trees.
Kringle 4x4
The trees remind me of gumdrops, so I wanted to color them in fun gumdrop colors!
I stamped the small tree nine times and the large tree once, the banner twice.
I used Copic Markers to color in shades:
green trees: YG21, YG23, YG24, YG17, N3
teal trees: BG11, BG13, BG15, BG09, N3
pink trees: RV52, RV55, RV09, N3
gold banner: YR21, YR23, Y26
tree trunks: E25, E27, E29

I fussy cut all the images and adhered eight small trees in a circle shape. Than I adhered the wreath to the card base with foam tape. Stamp the banner with a sentiment. I adhered the middle trees together. Than I adhered the banner to the trees. Adhere with foam tape to the center.
I added some shimmer with stickles glitter glue and scattered some gems.

Thanks for peeking!
Hope you have a great day!

Michelle
