Inspire, Imagine, Dream

We are bringing back our favorite projects this month here at TRHD!

Good day everyone, Leah here with another fun project for The Rabbit Hole Designs, using the Succulent Life Stamp Set.

I have created this hexagon-shaped shadow box using the images and sentiments from the Succulent Life clear stamp set.  I watercolored them on 140lb watercolor paper and then fussy-cut them out.  I added them to some "stems" so that I could layer them over the background paper (which I added some ink to with the Triangle Mosaic Stencil) to add depth to the project.  I added some Spanish moss and enamel dots to finish it off.

Aloe You Doin? A2 Card

For my final project this month, I am again using the Succulent Life Stamp Set from The Rabbit Hole Designs, but I am also letting the Triangle Mosaic Stencil shine too!

I colored the Succulent image with my Copic markers, but then I took a scrap of watercolor paper and traced the Triangle Mosaic Stencil with a gold gel pen.  I wanted a geometric background and decided against black because it would have been too bold.  The gold really stands out and pairs nicely with the succulents.  I layered both the image and the panel on dimensional adhesive onto some patterned paper, added the sentiment from the stamp set and some tiny bling to finish it off :)

Dream of Happy Accidents - Succulent Life Stamp Showcase

This card was created with the September release from The Rabbit Hole Designs called SUCCULENT LIFE (TRH-182). It’s by the talented Tatsiana Zayats. The set includes two different images of succulent terrariums and 4 sentiments!

I really wanted to try gold heat embossing on gold mirror cardstock. I decided to give it a go! I started by prepping my gold mirrored cardstock with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool. I was really generous with the tool, because mirrored cardstock tends to be full of static. As I was heat embossing I realized my mirrored cardstock turned iridescent when I heat it. WHAT A HAPPY ACCIDENT THAT WAS!!!!!! Here is a close-up of where I could capture that rainbow of colors!

The green alcohol-looking background is from the set Getting Inky Paper from TRHD. The kraft piece is part of my grocery store bag with some ink and colored wax. Remember to play with whatever is close to you on your crafty area and have fun!

The last thing I want to share with you is this month's free with-purchase mini-foil!  Seriously, how adorable is this?!?!

Aloe you doin?

Hi everyone!  Amy here sharing this card I created using the gorgeous new Succulent Life 4x6 Stamp Set illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats.

Succulent Life Stamp Set illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats, Mid Century Modern #1 Stencil by The Rabbit Hole Designs #therabbitholedesignsllc #therabbitholedesigns #trhd

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock then masked off the portion of the background where I did not want stenciling.  To create a clean and simple background I then used the Mid Century Modern #1 Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Squeezed Lemonade and Salvaged Patina on the unmasked portion of the background.

Next, I stamped this beautiful image from the new Succulent Life 4x6 Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and fussy cut it out.

I prepped the portion of the card where I wanted to stamp the sentiment with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool. I stamped the sentiment from the Succulent Life 4x6 Stamp Set in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed.

I assembled my card using teal cardstock for the base, and popped up the image with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen and a few sparkling sequins.  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Simply Sending Love and Hugs!

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to today's blog featuring The Rabbit Hole DesignsSucculent Life stamp set along with both the  Love and Hugs Word and Shadow Layer dies.  The Ampersand is from the Niccole Alphabet Uppercase dies.
I was inspired by this black and white geometric printed cardstock.  I stamped out the Succulent Life image on black cardstock with Versamark Watermark Clear ink  and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I fussy cut the image leaving a narrow black shadow around  the image.

I die cut the words Love and Hugs from a piece of glossy photo paper.  I die cut the shadows layer and ampersand from black cardstock.

I glued the words on their shadow layer and positioned the images and sentiments on the black and white printed 3" x 8" card front before adhering them with foam tape.  The card front is layered on a piece of black cardstock and then layered on a white slimline card front.

Thank you stopping by today.  I hope you enjoyed this simple black anbd white slimline card featuring The Rabbit Hole Designs' Succulent Life stamp set, the Love and Hugs Word and Shadoew Layer dies and Niccole Alphabet Uppercase dies.  I hope you are inspired to create something lovely today.

Succulent Life

This card was created with the September release from The Rabbit Hole Designs! I love plants, but succulents are really hard for me to keep alive! So, I knew I could enjoy these the most. LOL!!! The set is called SUCCULENT LIFE (TRH-182) it’s by the talented Tatsiana Zayats. It includes two different images of succulent terrariums and 4 sentiments!

I loved working with this stamp set, I loved that I got to color in some of the succulents as some of my favorite types of succulents. I watercolored these guys and mixed some greens, purples, teals and fuschia. You might recognize the golden foil strip, it is from last month’s release, it’s called: Amanda’s foil plate. I felt that the card needed a bit more of interest on the background so I used the TCW Stardust Stencil butter with my fingertips.

The last thing I want to share with you is this month's free with purchase mini-foil!  Seriously, how adorable is this?!?!

Succulent Life Notebook Cover

Hello everyone, Leah here to share my first ever The Rabbit Hole Designs project with you today!  I have used the newly released Succulent Life stamp set to create a notebook cover for my THRD notes :)

I colored the stamped image with my Copic markers and layered it over some washi tape and a scrap of linen.  For the background, I used the Triangle Mosaic Stencil with some inks over some patterned paper to give it some depth and interest.  I also stamped 3 of the sentiments from the stamp set.  The background patterned paper had some text on it, so the 3 sentiments I also stamped fit right in but are bold enough to stand out.  Perfect!
