Feel Better Soon

Hello, crafty friends! Carrianne here today, and I hope you're having a wonderful day! Today, I am sharing a card that I created using The Rabbit Hole Designs Mindful Magnolia Stamp Set.

I began by die-cutting a white panel using The Rabbit Hole Designs You've Been Framed Layering Dies. It was adhered to a red mat layer and then adhered to a white A2 card base.

I then stamped the smallest floral image from the set several times in black ink and colored it with alcohol markers from my stash. I fussy cut them out, but a matching die set is available. I popped them up on foam squares for dimension.

The sentiment is from the same set Mindful Magnolia Stamp Set and was heat embossed, then popped up on foam strips. I added some dark splatter to complete the card.

Thank you for visiting. Happy crafting!

Deco Flower Clean & Simple Card

Hello and welcome back to the blog; it's Rick back with you again this week to share another crafty project using the fabulous products from the Rabbit Hole Designs.  This week I have a CAS card to share with you using the Deco Flower 6-Layer Stencil Bundle.    My sentiment for this clean and simple card design comes from the Namaste 4 x 6 Stamp Set.  Here's a look at my clean and simple card design.

To start off my card design I used a blue ink for to ink blend the "sky" and a green ink for the "grass" using my CottonTail Blending Brushes.  I gave the "grass" a slight hill shape with the ink blending since I knew I wanted this to be a CAS card.  Once I had the background ink blended I started working on my focal images with the Deco Flower Layer Stencil Bundle.  I used a piece of 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" white cardstock and placed the first layer of the stencil on top and started the ink blending process.  I picked some spring colors of ink for the ink blending; and worked my way through all the layers.  Once the ink blending was completed I took the matching die from the Deco Flower Layering Stencil Bundle and cut out three of the flowers.  The great thing about starting out with the larger piece of white cardstock is I have plenty of room to die cut more of these loverly spring flowers for more cards.

Before I started the die-cutting process I flicked on some clean water on my ink blended background to create a little texture.  After I had my spring florals die cut out I placed them on to the card base using some of the small foam adhesive squares from the Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Micro Squares.  I placed the three floral die-cuts onto the center of the panel without attaching them first.  I placed my card front in my stamp positioning tool and stamped my sentiment from the Namaste Stamp Set in Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink right above where my center flower was going to go.  I then removed the backings from my die cuts and attached them to the card front.  I finished off my card by adding a few Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots sprinkled around the card.

Thanks for dropping by today I hope that you have a wonderful and creative weekend.

Rick

Hello there! It's Lauren today with a quick and easy card using the adorable new Warm and Cozy stamp set illustrated by Agota Pop.

I stamped, copic colored and then die cut out the pair of snowmen.

I then chose paper from the Galaxy paper pack and trimmed it to 4.23x5.48". I adhered it to a white top folding A2 (4.25x5.5") card base.

I stamped my sentiment onto white cardstock and then used a die from my stash to cut it out. I then adhered it and my snowmen onto the card base to complete the card.

Cool Pineapple Mahalo

Mahalo, I am so glad you stopped by today's blog!  Mahalo is a Hawaiian word used to express gratitude, admiration or sincere thanks. It is often used as a greeting.

I created this cool pineapple card using The Rabbit Hole Designs new Aloha - Pineapple stamp set. It is beautifully illustrated by Agota Pop. The Mahalo sentiment is perfectly die cut using the coordinating dies.  I paired them with the You've Been Framed stand alone die set to add the background burst and frame.
You can see the die cut burst behind the pineapple and the dot and dashed frame.  I love the details in the You've been Framed die set.  It creates a suble way to draw attention to the pineapple image.  This cooler than cool pineapple is stamped with black ink and colored with OLO Markers using the Y (yellow), YG (yellow green), and B (blue) markers.

Celebrating Love! Happy Year of the Rabbit

Hello crafty friends and Happy Chinese New Year!  Today begins the Year of the Rabbit and I am super excited to share this Love-N-Heart die from The Rabbit Hole Designs.  Do you know there are two ways you can get this die and one of them is for free!

The Love-n-Heart Die is free with a $75.00 product purchase (prior to shipping and taxes).  It can also be purchased seperately for $9.99.  Add the Love-N-Heart die to your cart and the discount (if applicable) will be applied upon checkout. No code is needed. This is a while supplies last type of discount.

Let's take a look at this easy to make card.
I die cut the Love-N-Heart die twice.  Once from a glossy black cardstock and a second from a matte white cardstock.
I used the white die cut outline and positioned the black glossy die cut inside pieces to fill in.  The background printed paper is from my stash.  It is a red paper with gold foiled firework bursts.  It is perfect to celebrate the Chinese New Year. I cut a piece to 4" x 5 1/4" to use as a card front.
I glued the white Love-N-Heart outline down on the middle of the printed card front.  I then glued the remaining black pieces in place.  I glued this card front to a white A2 cardbase completing this festive card.

Caffeinated Jingles

Welcome! Lauren here today sharing this holiday card featuring the new Caffeinated Vulture stamp. This guy has his coffee and his Santa hat so he's all set. Bring on the holidays!!

I started by stamping the vulture image onto white cardstock. Then I colored him up using Prismacolor Premier pencils and die cut him out using the coordinating Caffeinated Vulture die. I then stamped, colored and fussy cut the Santa hat from the Merry Pigmas stamp set. Then, I adhered the hat onto my vulture cutting off his top feather.

Next, I ink blended my background on an A2 (4.25x5.5) sized white cardstock panel. The Distress Oxide colors I used were: Mermaid Lagoon, Prize Ribbon and Faded Jeans.

I then die cut a snowy white fir tree window panel using a die from my stash and adhered that onto my ink blended background. I stamped the sentiment from the Caffeinated Reindeer stamp set in black below the window on the white panel.

After that, I die cut 3 more vulture shapes and adhered them to the back of my colored vulture. I then adhered him to my background panel and the panel onto an A2 sized card base.

I loved giving this Caffeinated Vulture a holiday twist. I hope this inspires you to add some fun details to your creations! Happy crafting!

Thanks For Everything

Hello! Lauren here today sharing my thank you card featuring the new Thanks, Scripty stamp and die sets. This was an easy card to make beautiful thanks to Niccole's gorgeous alcohol ink background panel!

To turn the panel into a finished card, I first prepared a piece of vellum using the new Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool. Then I stamped the Thanks word using my watermark ink pad. I covered the word with gold embossing powder, tapped off the excess and heat set it. The Cottontail embossing tool works perfectly on vellum. No stray embossing powder clung to the vellum.

I used the shadow die from the Thanks die set to cut out the embossed word. I adhered it onto the alcohol inked background.

Next, onto aqua cardstock I prepared, then stamped in watermark ink, the sentiment. Then embossed in gold. I used sentiment strip die from my stash to trim out the sentiment. Then adhered it to the panel.

The last step, completing the card, was to back the panel with gold mirror cardstock and then adhere it onto a top folding A2 (4.25 x 5.5") white card base.
These Big Scripty words are perfect for creating quick and beautiful cards! Thanks so much for visiting!

Cake for everyone!

Hello crafty friends! Melinda here to share another card for The Rabbit Hole Designs January birthday release.

For todays card I wanted to combine the Open Heart stencil and the Just Cake stamp and die.

I started by adding a touch of blue ink onto my panel. I made it darker in the center fading out to a lighter color. Next I added some Nuvo glitter paste and set aside to dry. I watercolored my cake and cut it out with the coordinating die. After my glitter paste was dry I cut my panel down to 3 3/4 inches by 5 inches. I popped the base layer up with some foam tape and then added my die cut cake which I also popped up with some more foam tape.

I absolutely love the way the Open Heart stencil spotlights the main image on your card! This stencil isn't just for Valentines day, its great on any card.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look and I hope I've provided some inspiration for using these wonderful products!

Caffeinated Valentine Tags

Happy Valentine's Day!
Michelle here, I created some caffeinated gift tags for mini Valentine's Day gifts. The whole
Caffeinated line is perfect for gift tags!
Having the coordinating dies makes it a lot easier! I used Caffeinated Owl Stamp and Die, and
I stamped the owl and flamingo, than die cut the images. I colored the caffeine cuties
with Copic Markers. I die cut each image twice per tag. One colored, one blank.
After I colored the front of the tag I adhered the black die to the back.
I stamped the back of the tags with sentiments from the set, Perfectly Blended.
I filled each treat bag with some Starbucks Via packets and Hershey Kisses...perfect combo!

Hope you give this a try!
Hope you enjoy today!

Michelle

Curiosity with Katie

Happy Saturday!  Happy to be here on a Saturday, my fave day of the week, drinking coffee and sharing papercrafts.  What more could a girl ask for?!

So as we sprint into fall (it sure does feel that way to me), I have another fun Halloween card using the September release.

I love the contrast of colors here and the sharpness of the edges and the background die.   I also love the embossing powder, Metalline Flame, and the sparkly enamel dots, they just complete the intense feel.

Here's how I made it:
  • I started by stamping my image from the Hex Yeah set and colored it with my Copics.  I fussy cut it out and set it aside.
  • Next I went about creating the layers.  I knew I wanted to use this die and make the color pop through the black, but I had to be careful about placement so that it didn't take away from her lovely orange dress.
  • Once I had my layers and colored CS picked, I cut them to the size I wanted.
  • I mounted my girl on top and set it aside.
  • Next, I cut a black base.  On the base I stamped this sentiment from my stash with versamark ink and embossed with Metalline Flame embossing Powder from Wow.  I chose this color because it complimented the scene so well.
  • I came back in and mounted my layers and dress on the card.
  • Lastly, I added these sparkly enamel dots from Freckled Fawn.

Well, I hope you like this card!  I truly enjoyed making it. You can head to my blog here for a full list of supplies.
