feeling a little nutty?

Hello, my crafty friends! Today I have for you a fun mix of the newest release products!

I have put together so many fun elements together from stenciling to hot foiling. for the background, I used the new Nutty 2 Layers - 6x6 Stencil. I grabbed a light and dark brown oxide to add more definition to the peanuts. I wanted to add a shaker element but didn't want my the whole card to be a shaker. I stamped the Clarence Surfing 3x4 on bristol smooth and wanted to have him popping out of the side, as a cute hello.

For the sentiment, I used the Hello - Scripty Word Hot Foil Plate, I used one of my favorite foils Aura and it came out fantastic on the black cardstock. Don't be afraid to mix, match and repurpose some the items you have! You never know what you will create.

Hello Coffee!

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to The Rabbit Hole Designs Blog.  Todays coffee instired card was inspired by the Hello Foil Plate.  It is pared with the Caffeinated Fox and the Niccole Lowercase Alpha dies.
The Caffeinated Fox is colored with Copic markers and attached to the card front with doubel sided foam squares
Hello has been foiled wit Copper foil onto a pice of black cardstock with the Glimmer Hot Foil Machine.  The Hello Scripty Word with Shadow Outline die is used to frame out and die cut the foiled Hello.  The Niccole Lowercase Alpha dies are used with black cardstock to diecut the word Coffee.

The best wave.....

The best wave of your life is still out there! What a wonderful, encouraging sentiment.  I love it! I love these two new The Rabbit Hole Designs stamp sets, illustrated by Dustin Pike, that I used on the card above: Clarence Surfing and Beach Background.  Vanessa here today!

I'm here here to share, quickly, how I created my card above. I made my own background paper by  stamping, repeatedly, the wave stamp from Clarence surfs and the "you can't stop the waves...." sentiment from the Beach Background set; glue to A2 sized card front.

I stamped the beach background stamp onto white cardstock and die cut a circle portion of it out; colored by ink blending, alcohol inks and a glimmer pen. The sun was stenciled on by die-cutting a small circle out of scratch paper. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment. I matted that image onto a slightly larger die cut circle and attached it all to my card using dimensional tape.

Have a beautiful day!

Vanessa B.

Drink all of the Coffee, do all of the things!

Hey y'all!  Happy, happy weekend!! Hope you have some fun plans this weekend.  Tangii here with another October release peek.  I'm playing with the Clarence Coffee stamps & Die pairing them up with the Coffee Shop Background stamp set.

For the background, I wanted the shop embossed.  I used the Cottontail Embossing Tool all over my Kraft cs, then inked with embossing ink and added some white super fine ep.  With this done, I set the panel aside.  I stamped, die cut and then colored Clarence with some Copics and popped him up with foam squares.  The same for the red coffee sign, I stamped on red cs and cut it out by hand. The sentiment in the upper right is from the Clarence set.  This card will be great for one of my MANY coffee loving pals!

You can also read about this card on my blog, here with links to the products I used, etc.  Thanks for popping by, come back again soon!

Nut'n Funny!

Hi everybody! Lauren here to share my latest card featuring the newly released Clarence Coffee stamp set!  I totally agree with him, there is absolutely nut'n funny about an empty cup of coffee!!

I started out by randomly stamping the peanuts that are included in the stamp set onto kraft cardstock using a brown ink pad. I then die cut an A2 sized panel using a wonky stitch die from my stash.

Next, I stamped Clarence on kraft cardstock with the same brown ink. Then used my Prisma Color pencils to color him up.

Once he was colored, I used a circle die from my stash to cut him out. I then backed the circle with a white stitched scalloped circle that I had die cut out. I adhered that onto the peanut panel.

Next, I chose and embossed my sentiment. First preparing my cardstock using the Cottontail Embossing Powder tool. This tool deters stray powder from sticking to the paper you are using. I then stamped the sentiment using embossing ink and added my white embossing powder. I returned the excess powder to it's container and heat set the powder.

I used a banner die to cut out my sentiment. I also die cut 3 more banners and adhered them in a stack behind my sentiment to give it some height. Then adhered it below Clarence.

The last step was adhering the whole panel I had created onto a top folding A2 (4.25x5.5) sized card base.

This stamp set is a real fun one to color and create with. I hope this card inspires you to create something fun as well! Happy crafting!

Foil on the Beach Yes Please!!

Hello, my crafty friends! I am so excited that The Rabbit Hole Designs not only has New scene stamps but the Hot Foil Words are to die for!

I can not get over this beach scene especially with fall being here! I wanted to pair this stamp with the Hello - Scripty Word Hot Foil Plate. I love foiling all the things so this plate has jumped to one of my favorite word hot foil plates. I use the spellbinder's hot foil system along with their moondust foil.

I wanted to keep with a postcard-type feeling so I grabbed an embossing ink from my stash along my #1 crafting tool the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool. Once I stamped my image I did use clear embossing powder. For the style, I was going for I didn't want to use white or black I feel it would have taken away from my vision.

To cut the Hello I used the coordinating shadow die that came out with the last release. I love how perfectly it all coordinates together.

Be sure to check out the latest releases at The Rabbit Hole Designs to see so much more inspiration from all the fantastically talented Design Team.
