Fall is my Second Favorite F-word

Hi everyone!  Amy here with you today sharing this card I created featuring the adorable Fall Foxes Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop.

Fall Foxes Stamp and Die Set illustrated by Agota Pop, Falling Leaves Stencil, You've Been Framed - Layering Dies by The Rabbit Hole Designs #therabbitholedesignsllc #therabbitholedesigns #trhd

I started this card by die cutting a piece of kraft cardstock with the largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I then used the smallest frame die from the same set to die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock.  I used the Falling Leaves Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Mustard Seed and Candied Apple to create the background on the kraft cardstock.

Next, I stamped this super cute image of the fox, and a few leaves, from the Fall Foxes Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Fall Foxes Stamp Set, directly onto the white cardstock in brown pigment ink.  I clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card, adhering the layers together, and using brown cardstock underneath the base so you can see it through the die cut frame.   I popped up the image with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glossy accents on the fox's nose, and a few Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Faux Embossed Poinsettia & Pinecones Card

Hello and welcome back to The Rabbit Hole Designs Blog.  It's Rick here with you again today for another fun card making adventure.  Today I am sharing a card with the Faux Embossing technique using the Poinsettia & Pinecones Stamp Set and the Poinsettia & Pinecones Dies (which is the star of my card today).   This fabulous stamp set was designed by Kelly Taylor or Kelly Taylor Cards.

Pinecone Faux Embossed card by Rick Adkins

So, you may be wondering what in the world is faux embossing.  Well, it's a simple technique where you take die cuts and attach them to the card front.  But, you want to do the die cuts in the same color as your card front.  When you glue them down to the card front it gives the illusion off an embossed background.  I used the single poinsettia die from the Poinsettia & Pinecones Dies to cut out the shape from some Kraft colored cardstock.  I then simply glued them onto my Kraft cardstock panel and used a little brown ink to glaze over them with one of my CottonTail Blending Brushes loaded with a little ink.

To finish off the card I added the pinecone swag colored with a few colored pencils and the sentiment heat embossed with white embossing powder and I cut out everything with the Poinsettia & Pinecones Dies before adhering it to the card base.

Pretty Pale Pink Retro Poinsetia Slimline Card

Hello my crafty friends!  Today I am sharing this retro Pretty Pale Pink Poinsetia slimline card.

It features the Poinsettia & Pinecone stamp and Coordinating die sets from The Rabbit Hole Designs. This beautiful  6" x 8" stamp set is beautifully illustrated by  #kellytaylorcards.
I colored the image with OLO Markers.  I used R0.1, R0.2, RV0.1, R5.1, BV2.0, B2.0, YG2.1, YG 2.3, YG2.6, and Y2.0 to color the pale pink Poinsettia.

The sentiment is stamped on pink cardstock and heat set with copper embossing powder and then die cut it with the coordinating die.

I used a printed retro candy cane striped cardstock from my stash for the slimline card front mounted on a green blue cardstock layer and then onto a pink slimline card base.

Halloween is Meowgical!

Hi friends! I am so excited to bring you this fun Halloween card made with the newer TRHD set called Meowgical.
I got creative with the background and used a various variety of supplies, such as distress inks, sprays and shimmer spray.  I colored and fussy cut out the images chosen, then adhered them to the distressed background panel.  I finished it off by embossing a sentiment at the bottom and placing a few TRHD enamel dots on the card.

Thanks for stopping by today!
