Good Morning! It is Katie and I have a fun and elegant wedding card to share today. It's funny that I am following up Lynnea's post, which also featured a version of a framed wedding card. Great minds I say. :)
Here is how I made it:
- I stared by stamping my image on Copic friendly white paper and colored it.
- Next I used this oval frame die to cut it out, the first cut established the inner frame. I cut it again to ensure I had an outer frame with out inked image on it.
- I set this aside and pulled out this pink DP that looks a bit like wallpaper. I die cut this with my wonky stitches die.
- Next I die cut a few pieces from another framed die set to create the hanger and bow. I distressed the bow using Spun Sugar ink and blending brushes.
- I embossed the sentiment along the bottom using gold embossing powder.
- I mounted the pink on the white base and assembled everything together.
Here is another close up.
I can't seem to get enough of the Happily Ever After set, so perfect and fun!
