Hello friends, welcome back to the rabbit hole!
Echo here from Stamp N Ground with a card I made from the September release. I had so much fun creating this card using the Hex Yeah stamp kit. I had the idea in my head for over a week. So glad I got it out of my head and on paper before it faded away. Which has totally happened before.
I thought it would be so much fun to have the witches facing each other with a moon in the background.
How to:
Stamp image on a mirror stamping too. I used the MISTI for this. I like to stamp several times on the mirror stamping tool. Place card panel down onto stamped image and rub to transfer image to card panel. This will be a mirror of how the image normally stamps. I stamped a second witch normally. This way I could get them to face each other. I stamped on Bristol smooth paper and colored with Zig brush pens. Then I fussy cut them out. Then I die cut a circle and ink blended with distress oxide in fossilized amber. I used a stencil from my stash and ink blended with carved pumpkin to give the moon some texture. I ink blended the background using distress oxides in fossilized amber, stormy sky, and black soot. Using a grass stencil I stenciled the grass in distress oxide in black soot. Splattered with white acrylic paint and distress the edges. I matted it on some metallic paper and then adhered it to a black card base. Once background was all ink blended then I glued down the moon and witches. Added the sentiment and a few die cut bats. For a final touch I added liquid pixie dust to the witches to add some sparkle. I was happy on how it turned out.

The stamp set I used was Hex Yeah.
