Heather here and today I am up on Blog showcasing this fun Halloween card.
I went with colors I would not normally think of, purples and blue, for Halloween but I really like the finished results. I started by stamping the pumpkin from our Pumpkin Hair Don't Care stamp set on a piece of Solar White 80 lb Neenah card stock. I colored the image in with my Zig Real Brush Markers then fussy cut it out. I then used the Puzzle Box Stencil and some Vicki Boutin Texture Paste (here is an up close picture of the paste, it is so pretty!!)
on a piece of white card stock die cut for a decorative edge. I let the paste dry overnight, and immediately cleaned my supplies. I then cut a piece of black card stock for the next size up for the background and when the paste was dry for my top piece attached it to the black panel. I then popped all that up with fun foam on a 5"x 7" side folding card base. I stamped the sentiment "Pumpkin Hair Don't Care" with Dusty Concord Distress Oxide on white card stock and cut it out, then I had a piece of purple glitter paper in my stash that I added to the back and then attached to the top right of the panel. I then added a few sequins from one of our mixes to the card and it is all ready to go out in the mail for Halloween this year. Hope you enjoyed, see you all soon.
